Me: So.......one of the worst days of the U.S is here....

Tank: *sighs* So many had died.......

Nikolai: *puts down vodka bottle* Yet they will not be forgotten.

Me: So I just wanna share a story from last year. So, my class was able to go to Washington, D.C, which was so much fun! Especially taking pictures in the open front yard of the white house at night, as well as go to Gettysburg and visit the battlefield as well as visit the secret places, like my personal favorite, Devil's Den. Anyway, one night, after the mall trip, we went across to the Pentagon and beside the building was a 9/11 memorial for those who died on the planes and in the Pentagon building. But before we could walk around, our tour guide dude pointed out a tomb and said it belongs to a 5-year old girl who died alomg with her little brother, mother, and father. So, me and my bestfriends gathered around and did a small prayer for her:'( It was really emotional because of how the tombs were. If a tomb pointed out to the left, that meant that the person was killed on the planes. If a tomb pointed right, that meant the person was killed in the Pentagon. So, I would've taken a picture of the site, but my phone died at the mall:( But during that trip, that memorial along with the Holocaust memorial made me feel so emotional:(

Tank: *pats my back* It's okay Lindsay. Can we all now bow are heads and remember the lives that were lost 14 years ago.

Everyone: *bows head*

10 minutes later...

Me: Ok. Well anyone who lost a loved one on 9/11 remember that they are now somewhere better. In the beautiful skies above where there is always peace.

Everyone: Bye.

In memory of the lives lost on the planes as well as those who died in the Pentagon. 14 years have gone by, but you are still remembered. Rest in Peace.
