Luna's POV
I still didn't understand what they meant by date, but I knew one thing for sure.
It meant Amy wanted to drag me into a dress shop.
"I think this is all a bit, excessive," Rouge commented, while for the second time in my life Amy piled my arms high with dresses.
"See even Rouge agrees," Star said as she picked the dresses off my arms and began to place them back on the racks.
"Yeah, it's not like she's going to prom or something," Foxy added.
Blaze nodded, "I think a simple dress is enough."
"But this is supposed to be special," Amy pouted, turning to us with two dresses draped over her arms.
"They aren't even going to a place that fancy," Rosez mumbled.
Kat kinda had a spaced out look on her face, "This place looks like the closet I don't use."
"Guys!" I suddenly shouted. Everyone- including the few other people in the store- stopped what they were doing and stared at me. "What are we even doing here?"
Star looked like she was about to explain, but Amy quickly interrupted, "It's a surprise."
I sigh, "Aren't I fine in the clothes I'm wearing?"
I was wearing a simple jeans and t-shirt combo.
"I think you look fine," Rosez said, and Amy and Rouge shook their heads.
"She needs a little bit of a dress up," Rouge commented. "And I think I know what she needs."
She flew off, and we all kind of waited patiently for her to return. When she did, she held a simple blue summer dress with a couple stars and a crescent moon on the bottom left corner.
"Wow, that matches her nails," Blaze said with a small laugh.
"And it's not too complicated," Star said, standing back to look at it.
"But its pretty plain-" Amy started, but Foxy interrupted her.
"It's perfect for the occasion. Do you like it Luna?"
Everyone turned to look at me expectantly. I actually did like it, and I smiled as I said, "Yeah, I do actually."
"Well, try it on!"
And I did, and I loved it once I saw myself in it in mirror of the dressing room, and by the looks of everyone's faces, they all loved it too, including Amy.
"You're right Rogue!" Amy smiled. "She looks perfect!"
"You do!" Star said.
"Do you still like it?" Foxy asked.
I smiled, "Yeah I do."
"Let's get it then," Kat says.
"Don't take it off," Amy said as I started walking back towards the dressing rooms.
"Doesn't she need her makeup done?" Blaze asked.
"I can do that on a bench out there," Rouge smirked.
"Wait what about shoes?" Amy said.
"Here," Rosez came out of nowhere with a pair of silver colored flip flops.
"Oh those will look nice," Star said.
"Try them on," Rosez said as she placed them by my feet. I took my tennis shoes off and slid into them. They were fairly comfortable.
