I was nervous.

Too nervous.

Why can't I stop these butterflies in my stomach?!

I took a deep breath. I couldn't freak out.

Star had suggest that we go see the others. I couldn't say no, I had to face them... let them know the truth...

Maybe getting ready will take somethings off my mind. I reached into the big bag that Shadow had brought up from the basement. They didn't throw away any of the brand new clothes that I never got a chance to wear.

I smiled seeing the black shirt with the faded rainbow peace sign on it. I remember the day at the mall, when I was so happy and carefree. I sighed.

I ended up wearing that along with a pair of blue jeans.

“Are you ready?” Star asked through the door.

“Yeah,” I looked at the mirror, noticing that my hair was a mess. I haven't really brushed it much, since I never really was able to get a hair brush often. And I honestly wasn't used to my longer hair.

“Need a brush?” Star asked, handing me one as she walked in.

“Thanks,” I brushed it quickly enough, making sure to get most of the knots. When I figured I looked fine, I turned to Star.

“What do you think? Do I look okay?”

“You look fine,” Star smiled. Then she adds, “And no one is going to judge you.”

I frowned a little inside. Even if no body says anything out loud, they'll still judge me, deep in their hearts. But I smiled on the outside and nodded.

“Let's get going then,” I say as I sat the brush down by the mirror and fallowed Star to where Shadow was waiting by the front door.

“Are you going to be ok?” Shadow asked me as he pulled out a chaos emerald. It was green.

“Yeah, I think so.”

He nodded and grabbed Star and I before saying, “Chaos Control.”

We ended up in front of a house, one that I remembered. It was Tails house.

I shook my thoughts away before they could overwhelm me. No one was waiting for us at all.

“Did you tell anyone that I was back,” I whispered to Shadow, knowing that he was the one who had called everyone.

“No, I figured it would be a surprise.”

“It would a surprise if you did tell them,” I say back.

We walked up the walk, each step feeling like a knife in me. I knew everybody would be angry.

Unless they could be as calm as Shadow and Star.

Shadow knocked on the door, it only seemed like half a second before Tails opened the door.

“Hey guys everybody else is already...” he trailed off, seeing me. I smiled shyly.

“Hey Tails.”

“Luna?! Is that really you?”

Before I could reply- or even just nod- he was hugging me tight.

I hesitated before hugging him back.

“I missed you,” I heard him say.

I felt calmed at his touch, and my icy worries slowly began to melted away. “I've missed you too.”

“Who is it Tails?” I could hear Sonic's voice from farther away in the house. In a second flat, he was right at the door as me and Tails pulled out of our hug.
