 Stardust's POV

"Stardust? Come on, you can't hide in there forever!" I heard Sunny's muffled voice. I quickly wiped the tears out of my eyes before I opened the door to the clubhouse that Sunny and I shared since we were real little.

Matrix was with her, and they both stared at me worriedly.

"What happened at school today Stardust?" Matrix asked concern oozing from her voice.

I couldn't tell them what had happened. Sunny already doesn't believe that I have magical powers. How could I tell her that I got beaten up because I accidentally blew up my bully's drink? They wouldn't hear about it anyways. They don't even know that I get beat up constantly, even though we all tell each other everything. But maybe I should finally tell them. I turned away for a second, and Sunny mistook it for me ignoring her. She grabbed my arm lightly and I yelped. She just had to hit my bruise.

"What's this?!" she turned my arm around lightly and gasped at the marking. Usually, I would be able to do a spell and get rid of them, but this one was too much for me to handle. I was hoping that they wouldn't notice, but alas they did.

"A bruise," I answered lightly.

"Someone did this to you!" Matrix gasped. "Who was it? I'm going to go and beat them up right now."

"No don't do that!" I know how Matrix could get when something like this happens.

"Who did this?" Sunny asked firmly. I sighed. Now I have to tell them.

"Stacy beat me up okay? I made her drink explode, and she exploded on me," I say defeated.

"Has this happened before?" Matrix asked as if she already knew, and I nodded.

"Why didn't you tell us Stardust!" Sunny asked, a little look of hurt in her eyes. I sighed.

"Because... I think she's just going to be more mean if I let you guys take care of my problem."

"This is all of our problem Stardust!" Sunny said.

"Yeah honey. All for one and one for all!"

I smiled at them. They were always ready to defend me, especially if I was being treated unfairly. Sunny and Matrix are pretty popular in school, and I never really have been. Of course they would never ditch me and completely be like how Stacy is to me. I always hung out with them and the other popular kids, but I never actually became good friends with them or anybody else. And being the popular kids, they were always able to make sure I was treated with respect. It irritated me a bit because they never let me fight my own battles and learn to stand up for myself. Which is part of the stupid reason why I hadn't told them about Stacy bullying me yet.

"Yeah," I smile halfheartedly. "Please don't make this into a big deal ok?"

"We'll try not," Matrix winked. "How did you make her drink exploded anyway?"

My ears flattened and I looked down. "You guys won't believe me."

"This isn't another magic episode is it?" Sunny sighed.

"But I did use magic!" I protested.

"I believe you Stardust," Matrix says with a smile.

"Thank you," I say.

"Don't encourage this!" Sunny yelled. "Stardust, tell me you haven't been going into that valley again, have you?"

"I have," I snapped, and then sighed. "I found all these books about these foxes that used to live there with magical powers! I think I'm a star fox."
