Matrix's POV

Luna looked so happy when I told her that I knew her Aunt. Looked even happier when I said I would take her there tonight.

I'm not so sure about this, although I didn't say it out loud.

I honestly haven't seen Stardust since she left, but as Sunny kept telling me, she had changed a lot from how I remembered her. And she probably hasn't had any visitors in years, or left that cave of hers...

But I have to bring Luna to her.

“You ready?” I ask Luna as the sun started setting outside the window. We had stayed at Tail's house all day, Luna being able to catch up with all her friends that I've gotten to know over the pass year. They're a nice bunch of kids.

“Yeah,” she smiled a little at me. She quickly said goodbye to everyone. Shadow came over to me while Luna said her goodbye's.

“Will you guys be ok?” he asked.

“Of course. If you want to wait here, I could drop her back off,” I say, and Shadow just nods.

“Let's go,” Luna says as she walks up to me. I smile at her and we both leave the house.

“Bye Luna!” Tails calls from the door before he shuts it.

Silently, we walked to my car. And silently, we got in and I started the car, and left Tail's house behind. Luna looked suddenly very nervous. All day she was very excited, but now it looks like her confidence dropped.

“Are you going to be ok?” I ask, a little worried.

“Yeah, I'm just a little nervous,” she admits.

“I don't blame you. Listen, I'm not sure who you're Aunt is anymore. Sunny said she had changed when she left to live in the mountains. And you'll have to see her by yourself.”

“Don't you want to see her?” Luna asked, a little shocked and I frowned.

“I can't. There's some sort of force field around the mountains and valleys that she moved into. Sunny walked through it just fine, and she always thought I was just crazy. But I can't enter that place. Stardust believes in magic, and I think she is right about that place having some.”

She nods. “I think magic might have something to do with this.”

Luna kept her mouth shut after that, looking like she was deep in thought.

And I just kept driving silently.

Luna's POV

I should be excited to see my Aunt, but I'm more nervous then excited. Matrix must know this cause she stopped talking to me. Which I'm happy that she did.

It surprised me that Matrix couldn't see Stardust. Though, at this point, I can believe in magic.

The sun set fairly quickly although we headed towards it. Passed the city in a blur of lights. Then we were on some old country road. We only passed one car on this road. Soon, she was driving on different roads until I was completely confused.

The moon rose fairly quickly. Nearly full. I clenched my fist. I almost forgot that there was a freaking full moon coming up in a few days!

“Are you ok?” Matrix asked.

“Yeah,” I say.

She sighed, “I know you're not, there's no point in lying to me. I know you. Don't worry about anything. If you were told you're Aunt could help you, then your Aunt can help you.”

I nodded once, realizing she was right on both things. She knows me too well, and Stardust can help me. I trust my mom on that one.

She didn't pester me on what all I was worried about though, thankfully. I didn't feel like talking about how much the full moon affected me. Not right now.
