Luna's POV
"Hey, the rains stopped!" Wolfa said excitedly from the window. I walked up behind her and looked through the glass. Sure enough, it had stopped raining, and the sun was even peeking through the clouds, making all the rain drops glisten. I took in a deep breath of relief.
"I guess Sunny was right," Matrix said as she came up behind me.
"And I guess that means we can go then!" Star smiled.
"And it means we're leaving now," Rosez mentioned as she walked to the door. "Come one Wolfa, Stella."
"Aww but we want to go met Luna's Aunt," Wolfa pouted. Stella walked over too, with a similar look.
"But you're Moms wanted you home before it gets dark and I don't know how long it'll take us to get back to your houses after we go."
"It ok Rosez, I already asked my Mom, she said it was fine as long as I'm there," Foxy came into the living room, with a few things of tubberwear. Wolfa and Stella high five-d, but Rosez frowned. Her expression worried me a bit, but it went away as Tails came over to me. He gave me a little side hug. I'm sure he saw my face from across the room.
"Well, I think everyone's all set to go. What happened to Matrix?" He asked me.
"She had a headache and went home. She said she'd probably meet us there later after she takes a little nap and some aspirin."
Tails frowned himself, "I had some aspirin in the cabinet and she was welcome to sleep on the guest bed. I hope she's feeling ok."
"Me too."
"Hey what's with all you slowpokes. Are we going there are not?" Sonic jokes as he walked back into the living room.
"Are we going to teleport or take a few cars?"
"Cars," Shadow said, "there's too many of us to wear myself out over teleporting everyone back and forth."
"Well, I'm going to run. Wanna race Shades?"
Shadow glared at him, and Sonic shrugged. "There's not enough room for me and you to go without us driving illegally. You wouldn't want to break the law." He waved his finger at Shadow playfully. In the next second, the door was open, and Shadow was gone. Sonic blinked and than raced after him.
Amy and Star looked at each other, and then rolled their eyes. "Boys!"
It didn't take us long to get there at all. Tails was right, it was really close to his house. We did have to walk a little while though, since there wasn't a road to the spot that this place was at, but it was a nice peaceful walk in the woods.
We didn't see Shadow or Sonic on the walk, but Star said that it was probably because they were already there bickering on who actually beat who. She said most of the time it's a tie, but neither of them would admit to that.
With the walk though, it began to get dark outside very quickly. It was hard to tell under the leaves, but it seemed like the cloud might have covered the sun. It was still another good hour before the sun is supposed to set, and there was no way that it could have already set.
A bad feeling began to creep up my spine, but I ignored it and moved on. Instead, I smiled and laughed with Tails.
Until we reached out destination. It was a field. From here, you could see the peaks of a nearby mountain, and the tickles of a nearby river or stream. It was beautiful. Even with the dark and ominous clouds hanging above everything. They looked worse than the rain clouds from earlier.
