Chapter 4: Fresh Start

Aurora's POV

3 weeks past. I stopped crying long ago but my screams make their way through the night. I remember every horrifying detail and I believe its going to start driving me insane so I'm leaving today. I'm going with my aunt and cousin to our old pack in Canada. I haven't seen snow in a long time so I'm kind of excited but the smile won't make their way to my lips. Sometimes I think they never will.

"Aurora were leaving in 3 hours."
"Ok." Phoelia looked at me before getting up from the grass, we were in the forest lying down, or at least I was.

"I'm going back to the house real quick...will you be okay...?"

"I'm fine." Nobody really left me alone at home, but I couldn't really blame them because my screams at night started to scare even me.

With another concerned look coming from Phoelia she left and I closed my eyes.

"What do you want?" I felt the presence of someone and that I'm alone maybe they will talk. I heard foot steps and once I opened my eyes I was looking at him.

I couldn't say anything or yet I didn't know what to say. Why was he even here?

"Aurora." I almost laughed. The voice that was suppose to be so precious to me is the voice I can't stand now.

"I'm not in your territory alpha. There's no reason for you to be here."

"Listen I'm-"

"Sorry? Stupid? An idiot? Those words mean nothing to me. Now if you don't I'm leaving." I got up and turned but he grabbed my hand and turned me to the point I was facing him.

"I'm sorry for what happened, I didn't know-"

"Did you hear me?"

"What?"

"Did you hear when I asked someone to help me?"

There was a pause.

"Yes."

I must of done a sinister laugh because he took his hands off me and looked wide-eyed.

"I always believed in fairy tales. When I heard about your birthday I was excited. I was happy. I loved the idea of a mate. Someone who would love you and protect you. But boy I was wrong."

"Auror-"

"I hate you. I hate that this happened to me. You heard me and yet you didn't come. This is all the moon goddesses fault."

"That's what I thought. But not anymore."

"I despise you. With every inch of me I will never accept you. I can't even smile. My damn father couldn't even touch me because I was scared. I AM 15! ALL I WANTED WAS TO FIND MY MATE! I didn't ask for what happened. And I c-called you but you were "busy." But don't worry now, because the Aurora that you rejected is dead and gone. Oh, and if you don't understand, I'm done with you sage. Your dead to me."

With this said I left him. I left this place, and I walked forward, to my new start.
