Chapter 22: Jealousy

Sage's POV

"Why are you so annoying?" Aurora slammed shut the office door behind her.

"Annoying?"

"Oh you don't understand what it means now?"

"You shall not disrespect me."

She didn't even flinch. All she did was put her hand on my chest.

"Listen her sage you need to stop being so possessive, all we did was have a girls night out."

"Really? Is that why some guy was 2 seconds away from doing this."

"Doing w-" I pulled her close to me and crashed my lips into hers then start kissing her neck. I kept my hands behind her so I can support her light weight.

She wasn't fighting me.

"Mine." I growled while sucking on a certain spot on her neck. once a moan slipped from her mouth my teeth grew sharper and I gently marked her while licking off the blood.

"Y-you marked me?"

"Obviously." Even though it came as an attitude I felt like I was going to be slapped, but something surprising happened.

She kissed me back and then marked me then gently licked up the small wound.

"Uh..." I had no clue what to say. I wasn't even expecting to mark her, I thought we would be arguing.

"Sage... you can't hurt me....no. I won't let you." I looked at her with a confused face as tears rolled down her cheeks.

I wiped away her tears and pulled her close.
"Aurora I have no excuse for what happened before but I won't hurt you, I can promise you this."

It got quiet so I thought she was ignoring me, but she was soundly asleep. I picked her up and carried her up to our room while laying her down on the bed gently.

Veronica's POV

I got up from the couch a little bit dizzy and looked at the clock which read 3 am. Wow, they carried me home? We must have rocked that club.

Speaking of the club, when I find the bouncer his blood is mine. I mean how could he-

"A-ahh.."

What? Was that a moan?

I looked around the couch and saw no one. Maybe it was my imaginatio-

"N-not so hard..."

I looked towards the kitchen and started going towards it in a sneaky way. Yes, I am highly nosy. As I walked toward the kitchen the moans got a bit louder and I was taking another step when I ended up tripping and causing a thud. I got up from the floor and looked side to side and no one was there. He he, safe. I got up from the floor and came face to face with Jason and some redhead girl whose bra was off and....ewwww

Jason stood there with a stunned face and the girl wore her shirt back and left without paying me a glance.

Well I'm fine bitch, and you?

"Uh...veronica...hey..."

I ignored Jason's lame excuse to cover the awkwardness because I was mad and for some reason my chest was hurting a bit. Am I getting a heart stroke or something?

"Wow. You sure know your way with thots, or I mean sluts, wait, there the same thing." Why am I acting like this?

"It's not like that."

"Suuuureeee." I wanted to walk past him to get water but he stopped me by grabbing my shoulders.

"You need to believe me."

"Believe you? I'm not your mom or your girlfriend. Whatever you do is not my concern." It almost seemed like he was hurt by this but then he went into a smile.

"Your right. Its not." He then pushed past me and went upstairs.

Is he bipolar?

I looked around and spotted a water bottle but before I could drink it I saw something past through the window and then disappear. What the hell?

I drank some of the water and then opened the door and stepped outside while looking around.

Suddenly, someone appeared in front of me causing me step back a bit.

"Jason?" I looked closely at the guy and he looked similar to Jason.

"How do you know that name?"

"Don't ask me questions when your the one in someone else's territory."

He seemed lost for a second but then smiled again.

"Feisty."

I rolled my eyes.

"Just who are you?"

"Your worst nightmare."

"That's my line."
