* 3 days later *

Jason's POV

Ok I'm going to do it, I can do it. I mean I already knocked on the door so I might as well.

"You can do it bro." Mason reminded me and I nodded.

"R-right." Just then the door opened revealing Josephine.

"Is Veronica there...?"
"Yea."
"Can I talk to her?"
"Yea...hold on."

She closed the door and I sighed Ever since we got her back she's been quiet and just keeping to herself. I just want to make sure she's ok... and I want to see her. I want to be there with her and be the shoulder she cries on. I don't know what she went through in there but I want to be the one she can confide in. I want to be the one she can proudly say she loves.

I didn't notice mason had disappeared until the door opened again revealing Veronica.
"Oh..hey." She looked down and it made my heart drop.
"Veronica. Go on a date with me"
"What?"
"Go out with me. Right now."
"Seriously?" Her green eyes locked with mine.
"Yea, put on some shoes and let's go."
"But I'm just wearing a shirt and ripped jeans"
"So? You look hot just wearing that." I saw her blush and look up at me.
"I'll be right backhand and I wanted to saw something but the door was slammed in my face but then quickly opened it with her wearing converses.
"Ready." She smiled at me and I took her hand and led her downstairs.
"Have fun."
"BUT NOT TOO MUCH FUN." We turned back to see the girls waving and the guys smirking at me.

Those idiots were listening the whole time?

"We will!" Veronica called back smiling at the girls as we headed out the door.

"So are we taking a car?"
"Nope. Were walking."
"No..seriously."
"I'm serious...I'm sure the carnival was here somewhere..."
"CARNIVAL?!" Her eyes started sparkling and she grabbed my hand and I smiled at the tingles.
"I can hear the excitement..this way" she led us to the carnival and I paid as she ran inside looking at the rides.

"You've never been to one?"
"Nope" she smiled.
"Well I would of taken you to a better one if I knew."
"It doesn't matter where I am, as long as your there I'm fine."
"Veronica..."
"Is that cotton candy?!" She ran in line to get some and I smiled at her. At least she's happy.

I could of sworn I saw Josephine walk past us but maybe it was my imagination.

"I'm back!" She ran back towards where I was standing and pushed a ball into my mouth.

"It's good isn't it?!" She plopped one into her mouth and then ate the whole thing.

"No more for me?" I asked grabbing her hand.
"Nope. It's all in my mouth."
"That's fine too."
"Huh?" I pulled her close and placed my lips against her soft ones while slipping my tongue into her mouth, but soon enough she pulled away.
"Damn you can kiss.." She laughed and so did I but she was blushing deep red.

I looked around and saw a photo booth.
"Let's take a picture."
"Ok."

We got the the photo booth when the worker there gave us a special free picture because she thought we were the cutest couple she's seen so far. Even with this said, she still slipped me her number on a piece of paper but I crumpled it and threw it away before veronica noticed.

We got into the photo booth and took 1 normal picture, a goofy picture, and I stole a kiss from her right when our final picture was being taken. The pictures printed out and she took them and ran to the worker to show her.

"The last one is so cute. Don't you think?" She gritted out.
"Yes." The worker faked smiled while veronica laughed.

I took her hand and we went on so many rides I lost count.
"I think we went on every ride here." She laughed and I nodded in agreement.
"Let's get back" she nodded and we walked out and started walking along a path.

"This isn't the way to the pack house."
"I know."
"Um... did I miss something?" I looked at her a while before sighing.

"Veronica what happened when they captured you?"
"Nothing really. Just the occasional beatings and what not."
"Occasional?" I growled.
"Don't Worry. It was nothing."
"Then why do you seem different?"
"I-Im not."
"You are." She sighed.
"When were you going to tell me I was your mate?"
"How did you- when did you figure it out?"
"The second day we met."
"Then why didn't you say anything?" She shrugged.
"I figured you should tell me." There was silence but it was soon replaced with laughter.

"Let's go home."
"Mhmm." I was about to take a step when the wind picked up a lot.

"Veronica what's wrong?!"
"Nothing I'm not doing that-CRAP I'm not doing that!"

Veronica's POV

There she was. Dammit.

"Times up." Was the first thing she said.

"Your not suppose to be here!"

"And you weren't suppose to fall in love. Shit happens dear."

Jason stepped in front of me and I knew he was going to shift but I grabbed his hand.

"Don't." I said quietly and he turned to me.

"Who is she?" I sighed.

"My family was killed when I was little....I was going to die too until she saved me. That day a deal was made. One day, I'll get my revenge and I'll get to live my life, if I don't fall in love."

"And what happen if you do?!" He shouted causing the tears to flow down.

"I...I...." I couldn't get any words out.

"You all lose any memory you have of her, but she'll remember you. Oh and if she tries to return any memory of her she'll die."

"But, we can remember her right?"

"Impossible. Not going to happen. No."

"But why?"

"It won't!" He voice made the crows fly away and she sighed.

"Are you ready veronica?"

"Y-yes..." I nodded and went up to Jason.

"I love you.." I placed a small kiss on his lips.

"And I'm going to miss you guys too." I looked in the direction where Sage, Donovan, Luca, Shane, Jasper, Jessica, Amelia, Scarlet, Josephine, and Aurora were trying to hide.

"Times up." She said once again watching everyone.

"Veronica. I will remember you. And I loved you from the moment I met you." Jason embraced me in his arms.

"Goodbye." I whispered
