Jason's POV

Was that guard an idiot? Or was this a set up.

I'm going with both, but I'll play along. I love mind games anyway.

"I can't believe you betrayed your pack." One of the guards told me while taking me to the cells.

"I didn't betray my pack."

"That's what they all say." I looked at the guard next to him and saw he had something on his neck. A scar maybe...?

"When did you start guarding here scar neck?"

"Scar neck? I have worked here for a long time."

"Really? I cook around here. I would've seen you around at least once."

There was a silence before I heard a door unlock.

Ah. We were at the cells.

Once I stepped inside I smelled chocolate and strawberries.

'Mate. Get mate!' My wolf clause screamed.

My mate was here? In a cell? I looked around and saw nothing. The guards pushed opened a cell and pushed me inside locking it.

"I hope you both get executed."

Both?

"Wouldn't you like that? Bastard."

Did I say that out loud?

'It was a female voice idiot. Our mates voice.'

The guard look at us once again before going upstairs and leaving us to ourselves.

I turned to the voice.. It sounded so sweet.

"What are you in for?"

"Huh?"

"What did you do?" She asked me in her soft frail voice.

"Nothing. Just accused of being a trader. You?"

"I was walking around when wolves started chasing me and I didn't feel like fighting back so I just ended up here."

I stared at where the voice was coming from in amusement.

"Where are you?"

"I'm in the back. They chained me up."

I grew angry.

"Why?"

"Calm down... and because I grabbed some guards neck because he growled at me. He didn't even budge, instead I got locked up."

I laughed.

"You are some girl."

"PSH. I'm THE girl"

"And what will 'the' girl do?"

"Get us out of here." She sounded positive.

"Just who are you?"
