Chapter 9: The Ball

Amelia's POV

I was exhausted.

We were woken up at 12 which was terrible because I went to bed around four and considering how the rest of the girls looked, so did they.

The "Luna" here which I use loosely ask us all if we had outfits for the ball which we didn't because we were prepared to be dealing with rouges, not an over-preppy Luna and a ball. Because of this, we've been out shopping for over 3 hours.

Nonstop.

"That's it I'm done!" Scarlet sat on one of the chairs next to me.

"Are they still shopping?"

"Yes! I found my dress over an hour ago yet I'm still here. I even got my mask. I swear if she says "let's go here" I will punch her."

I laughed awkwardly, Scarlet was usually calm so when she's like this it's best to stay on her good side.

Actually, now that I think about everyone seemed to be a bad mood.

This boy that was kind of cute went over to Josephine and started flirting with her and she said "keep flirting with me. Let's see how many words you can say when I fist connects with every part of your body" which sent him away...probably forever.

Then Aurora seemed completely lost as she bumped into any and everything.

Next it was Scarlet...as you can tell.

The Luna seemed happy though when multiple guys went up to her which I didn't understand if she found her mate but I shrugged it off as they all came out the store.

They passed us our masks which match with my white off-shoulder dress and Scarlet's red strapless short tight dress. Josephine got a 2 piece dress which was black and came with pants that looked like a dress while Aurora got a tan mermaid dress with the back open.

The Luna got a pink very ball-like puffy dress that looked nice on her.

Scarlet's POV

We finally got home at 4 and I was exhausted. The first thing I did was sleep.

"Scarlet" ignored.
"Scarlet" ignored.
"Oh my geezuz Scarlet Donovan and Jessica are kissing." My head snapped open and I heard Amelia's laughter.

"Tsk. You were going to get that poor girl killed." She laughed even more and I sighed.

"Time for the party"

"Already?"

"Yes. You slept like you were knocked out."

"I wished I was" I muttered rolling out of bed and looked at Amelia in her dress.

"Oh wow you look so white! Not that it's bed you just look so much like a-"

"Angel?" She smiled at me and I nodded.

"I'll go get ready"

"Ok meet you downstairs" she nodded and I headed in the shower.

Aurora's POV

We were downstairs waiting for Scarlet when she came downstairs in her red dress, she looked stunning.

"Damn girl, let me hit that" phoelia said whistling.

"Oh shucks" she said and pushed phoelia slightly laughing.

"Where are the boys?"

"They went already, in a separate limo. We have to find each other that's the point of this party. And our welcoming of course." Amelia said in the most annoyed voice ever.
