Chapter 3: Darkness

Josephine's POV

Two weeks. Two fucking weeks its been. She hasn't woken up, and I'm .5 seconds away from barging into Miscreet Valley's territory and killing sage and anyone who tries to stop me.

Her parents came once they heard about it and her mom won't stop crying.

Speaking of moms, mine is being restrained because she almost got herself killed when she attacked sage. All those guards to look pretty, what a useless pack.

I was in her hospital room. For the first time in a long time I cried my eyes out. I even drank water to regain more tears. She didn't deserve this at all.

I took out my phone and played "its alright" which was one of her favorite songs.

I didn't like this song but when she sung this to me when I had a argument with my mom I loved it, but without her here smiling singing the song I felt nothing.

Not a thing.

I was about to get up with something cold touched my hand. I turned around to see Aurora's once light brown eyes now black.

It was filled with darkness. I knew it all too well.

"Aurora!" I jumped on her and her parents rushed in probably thinking I called her name for a different reason.

Immediately her mom fell to her knees and I could see her dad wipe away his tears.

Her mom almost threw me off her as she clutched her hands. Strong man-woman was what her mom was, seriously. When she heard she didn't even come here she went into Miscreets Valleys territory and I heard she almost killed the Gamma and injured 3 guards.

"How are you feeling sweetie?"

"I'm fine. Sorry for ruining your vacation.." She trailed off.

"Are you ok hun?" Her father went over to her and she screamed so loud I had to cover my ears.

As doctors came in she kept repeating the same thing.

"Please don't hurt me."
"Please don't hurt me."

That's when I lost it. I ran out the hospital and shifted into my golden brown wolf with hazel eyes.

Aurora may not have her wolf yet, but I did. And I am sure as hell going to do some damaged with it.

I crossed their territory as two of their guards were chasing behind me. They better keep up because they weren't my target but if I did get to my target, he's going down.

I got into the pack house as the guards caught up to me.

"Sage you bitch! Get down here!" I yelled as the guards tightened their grip.

"Disrespect our alpha again and I'll kill you." One of them spat.

"I dare you. Try me bitch."

He reached up to try something when I heard the voice I know all too well.

"Release her and leave."

They did just that and I was left with him. My "mate."

"Josephina."

"Luca the bitch ass ditcher." Yup that's right, about a month ago when I turned 15 and shifted he stayed there to help me through it. And right after he vanished. Leaving me in darkness.

"How-"

"I didn't come here to chit-chat. Where is the big bitch?"

"You will respect the alpha." He said in his beta voice.

This time I stepped closer to him.

"Or. what?"

He looked at me and I looked away not in the mood to hear his apologizes.

"How is she?"

"Where is Sage?"

"Not around."

"Then I have no reason to be here. I will be back so toughen up your security pretty boy." Before I could say anything I slammed the door shut and shifted back.

Sage's POV

I watched her everyday from the day it happened. When I knew no one was there I went to go to see her, to make sure she was ok.

When I got to the pack house I was not to be disturbed. I was now the alpha but the very thought of Aurora drove me insane. I wanted the person's blood on my hands.

No one was in the pack house. When I was there no one should be there except Luca because I'd attack anyone on sight.

After reading on some of the reports I slammed the papers back down.

"How are you holding up?"

"Luca this is all my fault."

"You should of known better but no, its not entirely your fault."

"My wolf told me to go help her but I didn't."

He only looked at me with pity. The moment of silence was interrupted by a kick to the door.

"Sage you bitch, get down here!"

"I'll take care of this." He closed the door behind him.

This will now be the 3 people to get past the other members, they must need more training.

One who almost looked similar to Aurora came close to attacking me while another one came back 3 times.

There all pups. I could feel my anger rising.

I wanted to find who did this. I wanted Aurora.
