Chapter 23: kidnapped

Jason's POV

I was woken up by Luca who was looking at me with a worried face on until I got up.

"Alpha called a meeting." He said with a serious voice which probably meant something had happened.

Or, he's finally ready to have the Luna ceremony he told us about before we went to get the girls.

I wore a white shirt with some jeans and followed Luca downstairs who seemed to be as tensed as everyone else as soon as I got downstairs.

"What's going on?" I whispered to Josephine and she looked down.

"Umm... have you noticed anyone was gone?"

I was trying to look around when sage and Aurora came. Aurora looked as if she had been crying and Sage looked directly at me.

"Jason. Veronica has been kidnapped."

And that's when everything came crashing down.

Luca's POV

I watched as Jason's eyes turned back and Donovan and Sage held him back so he wouldn't go on a rampage and kill anyone.

"Jason calm down, we've sent people out to find her, and were going to go look too." Shane tried to reason with him but he someone got past Sage and Donovan and was about to go on his rampage.

"Sleep." As soon as the words came out dropped to the ground and slept.

"His wolf is in control and I'm afraid he will be awake in an hour." Amelia said while Shane wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Y-your a witch?" A member who didn't look familiar said astonished.

"No I'm an an-" before she can finish Josephine placed a hand on her mouth and narrowed her eyes at the girl.

"You aren't a pack member."

"Aww took you guys this long to notice me? I have all the information I need anyway." She laughed wickedly.

Before any of us could talk she ran out the door and shifted. With Josephine, aurora, sage, Scarlet, and Jasper running behind her.

"Everyone the meeting is over. Go to the training room and start training immediately." Everyone left while Donovan, Shane, Jessica, Amelia, and I stayed to watch Jason and to see if backup was needed.

Donovan's POV

The girl was fast. I'll give her that. We've been running for almost 1 hour chasing after her until she finally slowed down we growled at her in which she returned.

'Shift back' I told everyone and they all went behind the tree's to change, well all except Sage, he stayed right behind the tree were the girl also went to shift back.

'Something's off.'
'Silver, try to spot what's wrong with the girl. I can feel something is off but I can't tell what.'
'Of course I have to do all the work.'
'Now is not the time to get lazy'
'You should be telling yourself that'
