Chapter 14: The Talk

Luca's POV

I waited for aurora to leave when I went closer Josephine.

"What do you want?"

"I just want a chance."

"No."

"Why?"

"You left because you had a "lover" and now that she's gone or wherever she is, now you want me."

"No, that isn't why. I've been trying to talk to you-"

"You have been talking to me. You've just been talking foolishly."

"Just a chance. I will leave you alone if things doesn't work out between us. I promise."

There was a long pause.

"1 chance. If it doesn't work out you leave me alone? For good?" She was saying this with so much excitement.

"Yes." I wouldn't really leave her alone if it didn't work out, but she doesn't need to know that.

"Ok then, I agree."

'Don't screw this up'
'I won't.'

I realized Josephine was walking away so I turned her around and hugged her from behind.

"Thanks." I whispered in her ear. I heard a heart beating fast.

Was she nervous?

I wanted to test her so I blew against her neck and she froze.

Oh. This will be fun.

Josephine's POV

I will slap this boy to the moon and back.

He's teasing me.

'Us'
'Where have you been'
'Chilling like a villian'

I was now distracted when he started kissing down my neck. I pushed him away.

"Calm your hormones down lover boy."

"Lover boy? Is that your knew nickname for me?" His voice sounds so amazing.

Wait, what?

"What are you thinking about?" I didn't notice until his breath tickled down my neck.

"Are you done teasing me?"

"Not yet."

"What-" he crashed his lips onto mine and all I felt were the sparks that I thought were long gone.

I tried to push him away but he grabbed my hand and stopping me from making any movement.

I was losing myself in this kiss and it wasn't good. He put his hand on my waist and squeezed it making me jump. I could feel his smirk.

'Help me out here'
'No, you got this'

Ugh. Useless wolf.

He slid his tongue into my mouth and we started fighting for dominance. He finally let me go.

"I've waited a long time to do that."

"I... bet you have." I was breathing hard, how could someone kiss you that long and be fine?!

"Are you going to keep staring at me love?"

What? I didn't even know I was looking at him.

Where did his new found confidence come from? I will smack it right out of him.

"Still staring huh?"

"Oh shut up."

"You didn't deny it."

I sighed. Today has been a long day. I'm just going to tune him out.

I started to walk as he picked up my hand and interlocked our fingers.

"What. Are you doing?"

"Let me mark you."

"Hell no."

"Then this will be another way for people to know your mine. And if they don't get a clue...I'll kill them."

"Are you insane?"

"No." He laughed and kissed my cheek softly.

"I just don't want anyone thinking your unmated."

"I wish I was."

Silence.

"Let me mark you."

"No."

"Let me mark you."

"No."

"Let me mark-"

"Say it one more time. I dare you." I was pissed at this point.

I removed my hand from his and walked faster. I'm blocking him out for 2 days.
