Valerie’s POV:

It was the day of the appointment.

Louis had told me about what happened yesterday, about the crash and all and how the driver was most likely not going to make it. He also told me that Simon was sending a couple guards over in time for the appointment.

I was downstairs with the girls. We were just chatting when there was a knock on the door. I got up and walked over to open it.

“Hello,” Dan said, smiling. Phil was standing behind him, waving at me.

“Hey guys,” I said. I stepped to the side to let them through. Dan walked by quickly. Phil just shook his head.

“He’s excited to see Gemma,” Phil explained. The two of us followed Dan and walked into the kitchen. Dan was talking with the others, but kept glancing up at the doorway to see if Gemma was going to walk through the door.

“Dan,” I said. He looked up at me, “She’s still asleep.” Dan nodded. I turned and walked upstairs to wake Gemma. She was sleeping in the only spare room we had, which was Louis’s room. I opened the door and turned on the light, hearing Gemma’s protests immediately.

“It’s time to get up Gemma,” I said, “We have to go in an hour.” She just groaned in response and I rolled my eyes, “Just please be ready to go by then.” I closed the door, not bothering to turn off the light, and walked back downstairs.

It wasn’t long before Gemma walked into the kitchen, grumbling about how it was too early to get up. I caught Dan’s eyes following her as she walked over to the fridge. I pulled out my phone and took a picture, just in time to see Dan staring at Gemma’s bum as she bent over to grab something from the bottom shelf of the fridge.

I attached the picture to a text and sent a message to Harry and the girls.

To: Hazza, Holly, Ki, Dani, Perrie
Looks like someone likes Gemma…

The girls’ phones went off and they checked the message I had sent and they started giggling and laughing. Dan glanced over at them, confused, but soon looked back at Gemma.

I soon got a text from Harry.

From: Hazza
You’ve got to be kidding me… tell him that her eyes are on her face, not her bum…

I snorted as I read this. Gemma walked out of the kitchen, Dan’s eyes following her out.

“Dan,” I said. He looked up at me, “Harry has a message for you.”

“What?”

“Gemma’s eyes are on her face, not her bum,” I said. Dan looked away from us and avoided eye contact.

Soon, Gemma had gotten ready and was back downstairs. There was a knock at the door and Gemma called that it was time to go. I rushed to the door and Gemma hurried me outside and closed the door behind me.

Two men waited outside, the guards. They stood at either side of us as Gemma and I walked to Gemma’s car.

*One Appointment Later Because I Don’t Know How To Write This…*

Gemma and I got back into the car along with the two guards. Yeah, it was a little awkward with one guard staying outside the building and the other standing right outside the door where Gemma and I were, but I was honestly too happy to care.

I was a little over nine weeks along, which meant that I had gotten pregnant just before Louis and the others left for tour. I was due the first week of February. And the reason I was so happy and excited?

I was pregnant with twins.

Louis’s POV:

We had just gotten the news from Paul.

Eleanor was dead.
