Louis's POV:
~November 7th~
We had woken up early to go to our last radio interview for a while and we would be there for a few hours. Zayn didn't have to go because he and Perrie were still adjusting to having Sierra at home.
I would have been perfectly fine with going to the interview if I wouldn't be missing Valerie's appointment. I had yet to go to one of her appointments and I had really wanted to go to one with her. But as management pointed out, it wouldn't do any good to go to that appointment if it could risk someone seeing me with her. Besides, this was an important interview and with the news that I was given the okay to reveal, I couldn't miss this.
Now, these interviewers had a special way to interview their guests. They would hand us each balloons filled with helium and before we answered a question, we had to take a breath of it.
"Okay," the interview started out, "You lads know what to do right? We'll ask you a question and before you answer it you have to take a big gulp of that helium." We all nodded and the interviewer took a gulp from her balloon, "Okay," she said in a high pitched helium voice, "So you lads just finished your Take Me Home Tour. What was the best part of the whole tour?"
"Meeting all the- oh wait," Niall started to answer but forgot to inhale some helium and when he did he began again, "Meeting all the fans for sure. Not to mention all the amazing cities we got to stay in."
"There was some drama on tour, yes?" the interviewer asked, "Some breakups and security breeches?"
"Yeah," Liam said in a squeaky helium voice, "There were a few bumps in the road, some more literal than others, but everything worked out in the end."
"That's good to hear," the interviewer said, "Now, I'm sure most people know by now that Zayn and Perrie recently became parents. What's it like to have the new addition to the One Direction family?" I took a breath of helium and answered.
"It's been amazing," I said, "Sierra's such a cute little baby and I'm pretty sure no one can deny her charm."
"And she's already taken a liking to her godfather," Harry laughed.
"Oh? Who's godfather?"
"That would be me," I smiled.
"That's wonderful," the interviewer said, "And who's the godmother?" We all exchanged glances and the interviewer noticed, "Something the matter boys?"
"Well," I said, "There is something I should probably announce."
"Okay," the interviewer said, "But let's ditch the helium, I'm starting to get a little dizzy." We gave the helium balloons to one of the helpers, well, more I just let go of mine, "Alright Louis, what's the announcement?"
"Well," I started again, recalling the story management told me to tell, "With everything going on in the past month I failed to straighten out some of the rumors about Jennifer and I."
"Jennifer Lawrence right?"
"Yeah," I said, "We broke up about a month ago. There just wasn't anything between us anymore and we had our eyes on other people."
"I hope you don't mind me asking, but who is this other person you've had your eye on Louis?" I smiled.
"Valerie Styles," I said, "We actually decided to get back together and I honestly couldn't be happier."
"Well good for you Louis," the interviewer said, "Harry, do you have any thoughts on their relationship? I mean, she is your sister."
"Yeah, I do," Harry said, "He better treat her right and not break her heart again. If he does, especially under the circumstances, I'll be sure to have his balls on a silver platter." My eyes widened and the others laughed at my expression.
"What do you mean by 'under the circumstances'?" the interviewer asked as we calmed down again, "Did something happen?"
"Well," I started out again, "Valerie and I found out that she's pregnant." The interviewer smiled.
"Congratulations to the both of you!" she said, "How far along is she?"
"About six months," I said.
"And the gender?"
"A boy," I said, "And a girl."
"Twins?" I nodded, "Well, I'm sure you two will have your hands full. Think you'll be able to handle it?"
"We can only hope," I said. My phone buzzed in my pocket and I went to see who had texted me.
"Who's texting you?" the interviewer asked.
"It's Valerie," I said, "She's actually at an appointment now."
"Well go ahead and see what she said," the interviewer said. She went to ask the other boys some more questions while I opened Valerie's text. But when I read what she had said, my heart dropped. I took off the headphones and turned to get Paul's attention and he came into the room.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
"I need to go and see Val," I said, handing him my phone. He read the text once before letting me know I could go. I quickly grabbed my things and rushed out of the building, leaving the boys to cover for me. All that ran through my head on the way to the hospital were the words that Valerie had texted:
From: Val <3
I'm being admitted to the hospital they found something wrong I really need you here Louis
