ok so obvi i love harry styles and that's why he plays caleb and ik that this is a luke fanfic so the pic should be a luke one but harry is just so beautiful so there he is :)
I woke up from one of the best sleeps I've had in a while. Unaware of what time it was, I let my eyes slowly flutter open. I moved my hand over to feel the space in the bed next to me, and sure enough it was accompanied by a body. I smiled to myself and attempted to cuddle into Luke's side, but I was suddenly held hostage from a larger body rolling over to hover over me.
Giggling, I was met with the sleepy face of Luke. His hair was haphazardly askew from the night before, and his eyes were surrounded by circles. Even when looking tired as hell, he still looked like an angel. He started to pepper my face with soft kisses causing my laughter to get louder, "Good morning." He spoke in his deep morning voice I have come to miss dearly.
I reached up to his hair once he stopped showering me with kisses. I raked my fingers through his blonde locks as he watched me with his bright blue eyes, "Good morning." I replied quietly.
"Sleep well?" He asked me, still having our eyes locked on each other's. I nodded, but made no verbal reply. He stared at me for a few more seconds as I continued to run my fingers through his hair. He finally broke the silence again, "You have no idea how nice it is to wake up next to you again." He told me.
I smiled and instantly felt my cheeks get hot. Why was I blushing? I shouldn't be blushing! My cheeks need to find their damn chill. Luke's smile mirrored my own, "And seeing you blush." He added on before placing a gentle kiss on both of my cheeks.
"It's crazy isn't it?" I finally spoke up in a questioning voice.
"What?"
"How we found our way back to each other." I told him.
He rested his arm beside my head and used his hand to trace down my hairline. Pushing a strand of hair behind my ear he replied, "Because I knew you were the one I was meant to spend the rest of my life with."
I couldn't help but to smile again at his words. I moved my hand from the back of his head to his chin to swipe my thumb across his bottom lip. It didn't take him long to act on the hint I just dropped, and he bent down to kiss me. It was sweet and loving. It wasn't too much because we had just woken up. It was somewhat lazy, but I didn't mind. All I needed was his lips on mine, and that's what I got.
He was the one to pull back first and his face was plain. Suddenly he asked me a random question, "If you could live anywhere besides New York, where would it be?" I was taken aback from his question just because it was so random. I thought about it for a moment.
Where would I go?
I drew in a breath, "Well I know I would stay on the east coast. Preferably the northern region because I have to see the leaves change in the fall," I told him. He nodded, "I love it when the leaves change." He commented. I smiled before continuing, "I love Massachusetts because of the historical aspect, but the drivers are crazy."
"I see." He nodded once while looking at me. I thought some more before finally decided on a place, "Maybe Philadelphia." I replied.
"You like the city life, don't you?"
"I don't like it, I love it." I sang to him in the tune of that new popular song that plays on the radio. Me? Listen to the radio? Who even am I?
He pressed a kiss to my forehead, "And I love what you love."
"But unfortunately, we have to come back to reality. And speaking of which, I have to go." I spoke while sitting up, but bringing the sheets with me so my bare chest could be covered up. I may or may not have redressed myself after last night's...escapade. Luke moved so I could get up, but I didn't miss his confused face, "Now?"
