September came and it was finally time for River to head off to school my little girl was growing up and I didn't want her to.
She woke up really early on the first day of school.
"mum, Dad get up come on time for school." River said coming running into our bedroom
"River you monkey." Dougie said getting hold of her and pulling her under the covers
"dad." She said trying to fight him.
"River it is 6:30 in the morning you don't have to be at school until 9 plus Buzz said he would come round and walk to school with us this morning." I said rolling over
"Yay, Buzz." River said getting up and jumping around
"You shouldn't of said that." Dougie said and he wrapped his arms around me
"Yeah well. River." I shouted
"Go find your guitar and play that." I said smiling
For about an hour we let River play the guitar before we finally got up and put a stop to it.
"Sounds good babe." Dougie said giving river a kiss on the head
"River come on lets great dressed." I said we got dressed had breakfast then Buzz turned up.
"Buzz guess what, I'm going to school Buzz I'm going to school." River said jumping up and down
"Yeah I know River." Buzz said smiling
"Hey Buzz." I said smiling putting Rivers Lunch in her bag
"Hey Rhianne." Buzz said smiling
"Right you shoes on please." I said to River.
"Yes mum." River said smiling and she got her shoes on
We left for school.
"Right see you later River have a good first day." Buzz said and he gave River a hug
"Thanks Buzz." She said smiling
"I will come by and walk home as well River, so see you later." Buzz said and he ran to catch up with a couple of his friends that had just walked past.
"Mummy. Where does Buzz go??" River asked
"He goes to the high school sweet high; he's starting year 9 and your staring year 1." I said smiling holding Rivers hand as we walked through the gate
"aww, I wanted to be with Buzz." River said
"I know sweet heart but he is older than you babe." I said
The bell went and I gave River a kiss and left for home.
I didn't have much planned for the day so I spent the day playing with my guitar and did a bit of cleaning. Dougie was out with Mcbusted for the day doing interviews for the next album. At 3 I left to pick River up and waiting at the gate was Buzz.
"Hey Buzz." I said smiling Buzz finished at 3 so by the time I got to school he was waiting.
"Hey Rhianne." Buzz said
"Good day sweet?" I asked
"Yeah not bad could have been worse I guess." He said he was hiding his face from me
"Buzz what happened." I said
"nothing." He said
"Buzz." I said
He lifted his head up.
"Buzz what did they do to you?" I asked
"Push me into a wall." Buzz said
"Oh buzz." I said putting my arms around him
"I doesn't matter Rhianne." Buzz said
"It does Buzz, what happened sweet?" I asked
"Some kids sow me this morning dropping River off and that I kissed her and gave her a hug and took the piss out of me for it." Buzz said
"Oh Buzz, "I said and I wrapped my arms around Buzz
"Thanks Rhianne." Buzz said
"River." Buzz shouted as River came running out of school
"Buzz what happened to your face." River asked
"Walked into a lamp post." Buzz said holding Rivers hand
"That was stupid." River said smiling
"Yeah I know, not my finest moment, I have to say." Buzz said smiling at River
I laughed and so did buzz.
"Come on let's get home." I said smiling
We headed home and when I got home I sent Gi a text.
"Hi gi just though I would let you know Buzz has a black eye."
"Oh my days, what happened?" Gi text back
"Beat up at school he said"
"Thanks Rhianne, he's home now." Gi text.
"It ok. Just thought I would let you know."
