I woke up on a bed, with Kubikiribōchō leaning on a wall. I got up and looked around. Nope, not my room.
"You've been reading this in front of her?!?! What would my sister think? You reading this book in front of her own daughter?"
"Calm down, you'll wake her up," it was Kakashi sensei's voice.
"I swear, you are impossible."
"I think someone's awake."
I opened a door and saw Kakashi sensei leaned against a wall, and a red haired woman yelling at him. Surprisingly, she looked his age.
She looked over to me, and that's when I noticed her bright blue eye. Eye, since the other one was covered by her hair. I stood there for a few minutes, which must've been uncomfortable for Kakashi, who was turning into a nervous wreck.
The woman smiled at me, "Hi, Akiko, I'm Yuuta Uyakata." She was, Yuuta? I didn't imagine her looking almost like me. She had a black uniform, with black gloves, black boots, yeah, she really likes black. There was a semi-target on her waist. I kept staring, confused and inwardly weirded out.
Yuuta looked over to Kakashi, who seemed nervous as soon as she looked at him. "I'll talk to you later." She nearly glared at him. He nodded, and he looked terrified. She looked over to me, and her glare softened. "You should eat breakfast before we train."
I blinked, then ran to the kitchen, which I surprisingly found easily. It was egg, with a bowl of ramen. I sat down and got ready to eat. "Thank you!" I yelled. She appeared in the room, and smiled. Kakashi had his hands in his pockets. He looked like a little boy who got yelled at.
"Eat up Hatake, it's a long way back," Yuuta scowled. Kakashi sighed, but sat down and ate. "Thanks for the food," he muttered. Yuuta just rolled her eyes. I was almost finished when she walked out of the kitchen. "What's going on with you and Yuuta?" I asked.
He silently sighed, "Problems that we haven't solved yet, and some new ones." "Like reading Icha Icha in front of me?" I asked concerned. He nodded, then continued to eat. I got up and looked around. Yuuta's place was neatly organized. I grabbed Kubikiribōchō and strapped it to my back.
I walked out to see Yuuta leaning toward the doorway. "Are you usually this anxious to start training?" She asked, smirking. I shrugged, "Only when I need to improve something." She nodded, then walked with me.
I was lead into the Village. It was practically dug into the trees surrounding it. There were more houses than stores. Yuuta lead me into a scroll library it seemed. "Pick two you want to learn," she ordered.
I looked around, which spiked my interest. There were Sealing and Summoning scrolls. Some were traps, and bombs. I read one: Water Summoning Beasts. There was also: Summoning Beasts on Land. I grabbed those two, and walked towards Yuuta.
"So, you're more of a Summoning person, I understand, Sealing takes up more chakra than most jutsus," Yuuta replied to my choice. We walked to the Training Grounds she showed me. It has a lake, which I found interesting. "We'll be training here every day from dawn to dusk, better get used to the training, it won't be easy," she explained.
I nodded and she tossed me the scrolls I chose. I grabbed them and opened them carefully. One had a Shark Summoning which was complex. Another was the Water Dragon. Then there was a Sea Serpent. I read the Summoning and showed it to Yuuta. "Not bad," she replied.
