I woke up, really tired, which counted as a surprise, since I slept well. My hair was all over the place so I quickly brushed it and changed into my regular clothes.
I got a piece of ramen, from the kitchen which felt really lonely. Especially since Naruto was already gone.
'Bored huh?'
'Goddammit.'
'What?'
'Now's not the time.'
'Fine then I was only saying that you were bored.'
'I'm not bored, I'm lonely. And let me eat.'
'You're not lonely, you have meeeeee!'
'That's exactly what I don't want.'
'Rude.'
'Your face is rude.'
'How would you know?'
'I have a hunch.'
I ate my food and started packing for the trip. Food, water, clothes. Naw, only food and water, no clothes. I walked out for a minute and saw nothing, which was surprisingly a first. In Konoha, there may be nothing to see, but there are usually a lot of people.
I looked around and noticed that the ground was swarming with people. Well, life has returned to its routines. I went back inside to try and get my mind off of things. My head burned, not as strongly as yesterday, but it stung.
The Seal, there was no doubt that it was a Seal. It was shining brightly, real bright. I could make out every single detail, which caused it to burn even more. I stared at the Seal long enough for two piercing red eyes glaring.
I shook my head, surely there wasn't eyes there before. "You are one real annoying person you know?" I heard a voice say. "Yūrei?" I asked. "Yeah, who did you think I was, The Hokage?"
I was snapped into reality by the knocking of the door.
'Who is it?'
'I don't know, that's why I'm going to check.'
'Hurry up then.'
I opened the door to see Kakashi, well that was quick. "You ready yet?" He asked. I nodded, "What time is it?" He frowned, "Around 2:30." It was just morning a couple minutes ago. "Right, just let me get the stuff, and I'll get going."
I ran into the bedroom and grabbed my stuff, packed neatly into a backpack. I ran back to the front door. "Done." We walked towards the Gate, where the Hokage was waiting for us. "Now, you will be training with Yuuta Uyakata. A once widely known shinobi who, defeated an entire village solo. She and Scar share similar attitudes, so don't be discouraged."
Yuuta Uyakata. Was she related to me? She went solo, so she must be really strong. I nodded, and the Hokage shook my hand. I walked with Kakashi, step by step away from home. Oh well, there goes my destiny.
We were far from Konoha about seven miles, when I noticed Kakashi-sensei's expression. "Something wrong sensei?" I asked him. He looked over to me and shook his head. "Nothing Akiko, nothing you should be involved in," was his reply.
I decided to change the topic, "How far until we reach the village?" He ruffled his hair, "If we get their quick enough maybe half a day." I sighed, half of a day, walking. "Does it normally take that long?" I asked. He shook his head again. "Few villages are closer, like the Sand. Since it's closer to the Sand, we have to walk for half a day, if we're lucky."
