"Kakashi-san, why are we just waiting here?" I asked my sensei as I paced back and forth at a dango shop, while Kakashi was just reading "Racy Violence". I rolled my eyes, Yuuta would've almost killed him by now. "So, when's Sasuke coming?" I asked quite persistently. "Soon, Akiko," he replied. I sighed, and noticed Kutenai and Asuma sensei walk by together,
Together.
Together.
Together.
Together.
TOGETHER!?!?!?!
SOMETHING WAS UP!!!!
"Ohayo! Kurenai-chan, Asuma-sama!" I shouted. Both the senseis waved. "What are you doing here?" Asuma cooly asked Kakashi. "We're waiting for Sasuke, or he dragged me here from my training to wait for him." "This is much more important than you're training, besides, I don't think wrecking trees is a good way to spend the evening." "Hmph, it was going to be a cool taijutsu move, if you hadn't interrupted." "Quiet."
I heard the scratching of a cup. I turned slightly to see red clouds on black clothing. It clicked. Akatsuki. I tensed when I saw Sasuke come up. "Kakashi? It's strange for you to be here first," he said bluntly. He looked over at me, then tried his "cool bad boy" look. "Pleasure to see you here Akiko-chan." I smirked, "Nice to see you too." Then, I added, "Sasuke-kun." His face got red, and I could hear the adults chuckle. I looked back to see if the Akatsuki were still there, but they weren't. I saw Asuma, Kurenai, and Kakashi nod. He gave me a look, and I understood it. Go.
Kurenai, Asuma, and I zoomed out of there and followed the prey. We had been zooming through half the city, when we finally found them. "I haven't seen you for a while, Asuma, Kurenai." The one on the right spoke. "If you know about us, are you former Leaf Shinobi?" Asuma-sama asked. I grabbed a kunai on instinct, as if expecting the two to attack. "Asuma-san, should we just attack?" I asked, quite viciously. This man was giving me a terrible vibe.
"Calm down Akiko, not so soon." Kurenai warned. True, I was on edge, but I was expecting more from the person who was currently pulling his hat up. Instead of any eyes, I saw red. Red, the Sharingan. "Itachi Uchiha," I growled. He took his entire hat off and unbuckled a little of his cloak. "I knew I recognized you from somewhere. Without the duckbutt hair, but now I see how you and Sasuke are brothers." Sarcasm doesn't work when you're facing the person who killed his entire clan, except his brother. "Akiko Momochi." The man from the left said. I gulped as the other man let down his hat.
"Kisame," Akiko muttered. "Nice to meet you again after such a long time," Kisame smirked. Akiko knew him very well. He made a bet with Zabuza to see if she could hold Samehada. Turns out she couldn't, so her entire hand was cut up, which Zabuza had to bandage. Bandaging a two year old's hand. Another reason why she ran away. "I'll kill you," I growled. Kisame laughed, "I remember you saying that years ago." "Kisame, calm down, not here."
"Akiko, remember, we're not going to kill them," Asuma said cooly. "Hmph, seems so," I puffed. In a flash, Itachi threw away his hat, and Kisame swung. Samehada was blocked by Asuma's blades. Kismet grinned and pulled back on the blade, cutting Asuma. I reached for him. "Don't, stay back!" he warned. Kurenai came late with her Genjutsu and Itachi reversed it. Then he kicked her into the water. "Akiko!" "Hai!" I ran to see Kakashi come in, but Itachi was focused on Kurenai. Kakashi used his Sharingan to help Asuma. "Late as always, Kakashi."
"The thing your looking for, what is it?" Kakashi asked. Mere moments ago, I would've been bored. But I wasn't. I tried to summon my Aniraken, but it wasn't working. Come on! Kakashi had to dodge an attack in front and below. I tensed, this guy was good. Once Kakashi's guard was down, Itachi stabbed him with the kunai in the back. He turned out to be a water clone. I jumped back as Itch's clone exploded, Kakashi taking Kurenai and carrying her away. Suddenly everything felt like rain. Kakashi, Asuma, Kurenai and I were huddled together. "Don't lower your guard. He's the guy who became a division chief of ANBU Black Ops at 13 years old."
To think he was powerful, and apart of the team I hated the most. Itachi closed his eye for a moment. "This isn't good!" Kakashi exclaimed. "Both of you, close your eyes!" And so they did. "Akiko, close them!" I didn't. "Akiko!" "Kakashi-sensei, I learned something knew." "What?" I was able to unlock my Aniraken, pure red, but I mustered up some chakra, and closed my eyes. Please work! "Sharingan!" Suddenly I opened my eyes and I didn't feel really different, but I could see Kakashi and Itachi. Only them, it was weird.
"So, a young girl like you, not even from my clan, has mastered the Sharingan. How?" Itachi questioned. I shrugged, "I wasn't really able to do it fully, but, this as far as I can get." Itachi faced Kakashi again, but I could sense a jutsu coming towards me. On instinct of the new, raw power, I faced a clone of Itachi about to strike me. I sliced his arms clean off and impaled him with her palm. The clone disappeared and Kakashi was trembling. Damn! He's under the genjutsu. With that, I ripped him out of the genjutsu. I didn't know how, but I did. "For a new user, you're quite skilled. What is your name?" I didn't feel like telling him, but as I grabbed Kakashi as soon as he fell, I answered. "Akiko Momochi." Kisame grinned, "So you're Zabuza's child." I growled, "The thing you're looking for, is it Sasuke?" Kakashi asked, weakly.
"No, the legacy of the Fourth Hokage," Itachi replied. "What do you want with him?" I asked, the urge to kill rising. "The Nine-Tailed Fox inside of Naruto is your target?" Kakashi asked, as if he wanted to call a bluff. I glared, my Sharingan weren't really strong and I released them. Again, I don't know how. "I know you two aren't the only ones on the move, the name of your organization is Akatsuki, right?" That got the two of them tense."Kismet, we'll take Kakashi, erase the other two." Kismet went in for the kill, I tried to summon an ice shield, but I didn't have to. "Severe Leaf Hurricanes!" "Guy sensei!"
"Who are you?" Kisame asked. "The Leaf's noble, blue fierce animal, Mighty Guy!"Guy sensei smiled. I tried not to facepalm. "What a sight...Shouldn't you be called the strange beast?" "Don't underestimate that man..." Itachi warned. Kakashi fell over despite me hoisting him up. Guy sensei picked him up and pulled him over his shoulder. "You did this to Kakashi?" he asked. "Kurenai, get Kakashi to a medical team, Akiko, Asuma, you're my back up." "Hai! Sensei!" I replied. "Alright then! Let's go!" Kisame declared, almost with joy. "We're leaving," Itachi simply stated. "Too bad, I was finally feeling motivated," Kisame complained, "It can't be helped." Then they disappeared. "Damn," I whined. Guy sensei turned to me, "We have important things to get to." I knew he was talking about Kakashi, who looked worse for wear.
