Defend Yourself! A Sharingan Attack!

Akiko was treating Kakashi. Her hair was tied back into a ponytail. She watched as her sensei was breathing heavily. "Akiko, relax for a while, you've overused your chakra," Asuma attempted to coax her to rest. Had she overused her chakra? It didn't feel like it. "How did you gain Sharingan?" Kurenai asked. Akiko sighed, "It wasn't my intention to use it, but against Itachi, it seemed like a last resort. I found out when I was training. I usually practice with Sasuke, the two of us training to the last breath, even though I always beat him. He uses his Sharingan, wanting to strengthen it. I always get sort of dragged in by the power of it. I didn't know that, I'd be copying it's power." 

Asuma sat next to her, "So you, absorbed a Sharingan?" Akiko shrugged, "I believe so, how else do you explain my ability to summon it?" "Have you told Sasuke?" Guy asked. "No, I don't think he needs to know about this," she replied. On cue, Sasuke opened the door, "Kakashi?" Sasuke, seeing only Jonin and Akiko there, attempted to know what happened. Suddenly, a man came in, "Is it true that Itachi has returned? And moreover, that he's after Naruto!?" Guy face palmed. Akiko found the strength to get up after Sasuke and her exchanged glances, "I'll go with you." Sasuke ran out the door, and Akiko barely got a few steps when Asuma stopped her. "No, you stay here and rest." Akiko shoved him away, "He's my brother, I'm not gonna watch him die."

With that, she ran out the door, following Sasuke. "Wait up!" she shouted. The two were at the same pace, and stopped at Naruto's apartment first. Only to see Sakura, with a bag. Not here. Ichiraku, she sent a mind message to Sasuke. He nodded and they raced away, Sakura yelling after them. They stopped and asked old man Teuchi were Naruto was. "He ate ramen and went with Jiraiya." "I know who he is, come on Sasuke!" Akiko shouted. "Sorry Teuchi-sama," she apologized. 

As they ran, they couldn't speak vocally, but instead, mentally. 

"Who's Jiraiya?"

"A tall, spiky white-haired man with two lines running down from his eyes the his lower jaw."

"Got it, tall, spiky white hair."

"The post town shouldn't be far."

When they got there, they realized that there were a lot of people. "Any ideas, Sasuke?" Akiko asked, just wanting to find Naruto. "We split up, I'll look here, you look over there," he replied. Without haste, the two split, looking as quickly as possible for either Jiraiya or Naruto, or both. "Do you have a blond kid with a dumb-looking face, about my age, and a white haired old man staying here?" that was the most used question. Lots of people said no, so the two were constantly running. Until they both were to busy to notice each other, until they head butted. "Nee! Sasuke! Are you serious!?" Akiko shouted in pain. Sasuke grumbled, "You were the one in my way."

Akiko knew that arguing wouldn't solve anything, so she got up. Then she offered her hand to Sasuke, "Come on." He looked up at her and took her hand, Akiko pulled him up. Then they ran again, this time, watching their surroundings. Akiko would occasionally look over at Sasuke and see his face of anger. He's remembering. "Focus on rescuing Naruto!" Akiko heard a familiar voice say. "Yūrei?" "Hurry up and save him, or else he's dead!" Such urgency. "Hai!" She kept running and Sasuke saw how urgent she was. I'm gonna save him, come on brother, don't die, don't die, don't die!

The two ran inside an inn, and rushed up the stairs, seeing the one face that injured her sensei. Itachi Uchiha. Naruto was in front of him. "Naruto! Get out of the way!" Akiko shouted. "Aki?" Naruto replied. "Itachi Uchiha, I will kill you," Sasuke growled. Itachi turned around calmly, and faced the two shinobi. Sasuke released his Chidori, scratching the wall with it and aiming it towards Itachi. itch deflected it by slamming it against the wall. Akiko prepared herself to fight. Naruto held some of the Nine Tails chakra, Sasuke tried to fight but had his wrist broken by his brother, He screamed in pain, both Naruto and Akiko shouted, "Sasuke!" Naruto attempted to use a Summoning, but Kisame sliced and used Samehada to take his chakra. Before could attack though, Jiraiya and his frogs appeared. Akiko face palmed, but couldn't help but let out a low chuckle at his entrance.

The two started fighting, at which, Kisame revealed that he knew who Jiraiya was. Akiko moved in quietly and crept next to Sasuke. Hey, duckbutt, you still awake? She could almost feel him smirk rather than see it.  Of course, although my wrist aches very badly. She looked cautiously at Itachi who paid her no attention. I'll bind it up, just don't make any obvious movement. Sasuke looked at her, quite scared, as she ripped a piece of her shirt sleeve, using it as a rag to bind his wrist. Sasuke flinched, but tried not to whine.

"To abduct Naruto is the No. 1 priority placed by our organization, Akatsuki!" Itachi claimed. That stiffened Akiko. She quickly tied Sasuke's bandage and he got up, "Don't butt in." He glared at Itachi, "The one that's going to kill him, is me!" He charged at Itachi, and was kicked to the wall. Naruto tried to help him, but Sasuke told him to stay put. He charged again, and got elbowed back. "Sasuke!" Akiko shouted after him. She turned to see Itachi, untouched. How strong was he?

"I'll help you beat him!"

"Yūrei, I have to leave it to Sasuke."

"Since when do you follow his orders, besides, I've got your Sharingan under control."

"The Sharingan, it was you?"

"Of course, it's in your blood to copy Kekkei Genkai."

Itachi ignored me, and walked to Sasuke. Kisame stopped Jiraiya from interrupting. From behind, Sasuke got kneed in the stomach. Then, under his chin. Finally, he was punched in the gut, deemed weak. He was slammed to the wall, and placed under Genjutsu. Akiko felt her rage attempt to consume her. She knew her eyes changed from normal to Sharingan, the weird feeling was back. Sasuke was out of the genjutsu, and the hallway was surrounded by pink icky stuff. We were in Jiraiya's stomach. Gross. The two men ran to get out, "Akiko Momochi, one day we will meet again." Itachi was officially a scary guy. Akiko released her Sharingan and ran towards Sasuke. "Come on you naive boy." She pulled him out of the toad gut and carried him. Heavy naive boy. 

She saw his blank face, he must've gotten something really bad. Naruto sat next to her, "Is he gonna be okay?" Akiko shrugged, then, she hit Naruto on the head, "THE QUESTION IS IF YOU'RE OKAY!?!? I WAS WORRIED SICK!!!" Naruto leaped back in pain, "OWWWWW!!!" Akiko attempted to calm down, when a kunai almost scratched her face. And, a persistent Guy sensei came in, kicking Jiraiya in the face. 

After a weak apology, Jiraiya explained the situation. Guy sensei understood, and Naruto argued that we should go after them. He was later shocked when he heard about Kakashi.  That's when Jiraiya said that they were going to bring Tsunade-sama back to the village. Truthfully, Akiko did not like that woman. She was scary when Akiko was little. But, the village needed a new Hokage. Guy carried Sasuke on his back. Naruto said they were going to bring Tsunade back no matter what. Then Guy sensei pulled out a green jumpsuit. Akiko looked away, and she could see Jiraiya's face of pure disappointment. "Aki! I'll wear one and become strong and tall!" Naruto boasted. Akiko still couldn't bear to see the jumpsuit, "It's not that cool." 

"Alright, we better get going!" Jiraiya shouted. Naruto put away the jumpsuit and smiled, giving Akiko a hug, "Bye for now." Akiko returned a hug and smile and pecked his cheek. "Make me proud, dattebayo." Then, the two separated, and went their own way.
