i quietly ate my lunch alone. half way through lunch i felt my eyes water just over that one text. it wouldn't get out of my head.
i got up and walked out the cafeteria. i went up the stairs, all the way to the roof of the school.
once i walk to a certain spot i always sit at, i just sit there and cry and cry. i've been up here for a while already. i know i missed the rest of lunch an-
"alyssa?" i know that voice. it's samuel, i wonder why he's up here?
