Maxine's POV

I was in the living room, boredly sitting upside down on the couch. I was watching Bones and Ender get ready while Creeps talked to Herobirne, trying to convince him to watch me. I don't mind, maybe I can change his opinion about me, but he seems to mind. A lot.

"What do I look like, a fucking babysitter?!" He yelled. Bones and Ender shared a look then shook their heads, trying not to laugh. "You two shut up! I'm not staying here to watch her, she can deal with things herself."

"I don't mind staying alone, really." I said but Creeps ignored me, going to fuss at Bones to stop laughing. Herobrine took the time to glare at me but with a confused look, most likely to why I'm sitting upside down. I shrugged. "I got bored." I said. He rolled his eyes at this and turned back to fighting with Creeps.

Eventually, Creeps won and the three left to go on their mission Herobrine sent them on. Yes, it's only been two days since I came but somehow Herobrine hates me this much. He sighed.

"Look, I have to go inform my castle that I'll be here for a few hours. Stay here and Do Not Leave." He ordered. He teleported without me answering and I glared at where he was.

"Can't tell me what to do." I growled. I flipped over and fixed me checkered shirt and jeans. I pulled my red hair into a ponytail and went to the door, walking out. "I'll be back before he knows it."

Something caught my eyes and I smiled, jogging towards a pink and green baby sheep. It was startled and about to run till I picked it up gently.

"Hello, little guy." I said sweetly, petting it's wool covered head. "No need to be afraid."

It calmed down in my arms as I petted it. I felt a drop of water on my head and frowned, looking up. It will rain soon. I spent a little while looking for the sheep's family but found no luck in the forest. I spotted a field. Maybe they are there.

Herobrine's POV

"Shit, shit, shit- Creeps is going to kill me!" I yelled, looking around the house, hoping the idiot was just asleep somewhere. Nope. Oh, Creeps is going to have my head for this, course she can't kill me but get her angry enough and she could blow up my castle, I just got that thing re-built, dang it!!

I teleported into the forest, trying to see if she just went on a walk. I saw her in a field but hesitated on teleporting her just yet. Why did she look so distressed? She turned and smiled happily, seeing a herd of sheep, a baby sheep in her hands. It was pink and green, looking completely comfortable with her. Surprising seeing as sheep are the most scardy cat of people then literal CATS!

She put it down and the other sheep glanced at it then completely ignored it. It tried getting food but they wouldn't let him. Oh well, why should we care? Wait, what? She went and picked it up, petting it's sad head softly.

"Don't worry, we can be different together! I wasn't accepted where I'm from either." She smiled, not even stuttering. She really is confusing. I sighed and walked over behind her. I coughed and she jumped, I crossed my arms.

"Why the nether did you leave the house?"

"Y-you can't t-tell me what to d-do." She said, mumbling as she looked away. I sighed and grabbed her arm rougher then I intended but oh freaking well. I teleported us back to the house and she ignored the rough gesture from me like it didn't even happen.

What is wrong with this chick?!

I was trying to go to sleep on the couch since those idiots still aren't back yet, when She appeared in front of me, freaking me out.

"How the heck did you get over here without me noticing?!" I asked and she giggled. I growled and sat up. "What do you want?"

"Um, C-Can you show me how t-to...well survive?"

....

"What?"

"I d-don't know the basics, OK?!"

Maxine's POV

He just stared up at me for a second, then seconds of silence later he busted out laughing. I frowned, my face going around a million shades of red.

"W-whatever, nevermind." I sighed, walking away.

"Wait, wait, OK. I'll teach you." He laughed. "Just, just explain to me how in the nether you even survived this long?"

"I was never allowed out of the ca- house I lived in. My parents were strict so when I left, you saw the aftermath. I want to know how to survive."

He finally stopped laughing and went back to his so serious, never smiling attitude. "I know how to craft and gather stuff but I don't know how to fight or defend myself." I explained.

"Guess the stuttering is gone."

"Hm?"

"Nothing, take this." He said, tossing me a stick.

I gave him a questioning look and he took out one himself. For the next three hours he attacked me and I'd block it but when it was my turn to attack I just couldn't get it. I could hit him but according to him it was softer then wool. I tried and tried but I just tired myself out. It was getting dark out so we had to go back to the house but I couldn't get his laughing and taunts about how weak I was off my back. Everyone finds me so weak and fragile, it's pissing me off. I'll show them.

I'll show you I'm not so weak, Herobrine.
