The Sorceress

I got lost a lot. A LOT. I explored the kitchen, guest rooms, basement, lab, library, potion room, enchantment room, and found another garden with a maze. I love it here, it's amazing! I was about to follow the compass back to the others but then I saw the door. It was a regular oak door like the others but I felt like I needed to go in and see it.

It was dark inside with a simple table in the middle. On top of the table was a glass block. It looked normal but I touched it and the room was bathed in bright blue light. It faded some till it was completely out. I smiled, this is cool. I grabbed a torch. When the room was lit I saw bookcases lining the walls.

I walked over to one, grabbed a book, and opened it. Sorcery, huh? OK, let's do this!

I ran out of the room and back to the double doors of the library. It's a huge room the size of a ball room with two levels of books, each level five bookcases high. It had every subject known to man. I grabbed every book I could on sorcery and stacked them at a large oak table in the back.

~~~Three hours later~~~
OK, time to try this out. They will be done soon, Herobrine said they usually stay for hours. They do all have their own problems, I'll give them time without me interfering.
I read the spell out loud, concentrating on what I wanted to do. At first nothing happened, but in a minute of straight concentration a soft blue light went around me. It's my aura. If I train long enough I won't have to say the spell and can see anyone's I wish. Although the spell books are in a different language, only a full sorcerer can read them so before I try  any spell other then the practice spells I should practice that.
I looked at the book again and found a spell that makes stuff float. I held my hand out and a blue light engulfed it, like flames. I giggled and moved my hand around, it feels so warm! I calmed down and concentrated again. I recited the spell from the book and after some waiting the book I held my hand towards started to float till I tried stopping it and it fell back to the table. I frowned. I tried again and it got a little high till it fell on it's own this time.
"One more time, Maxine. One more." I said to myself. I closed my eyes and concentrated. I felt light on my own feet like when I levitated the book the other times but when I opened my eyes, all the books around me, the closed ones, the open ones on the floor, all of them were floating.
"Whoo! I did it!" I said happily. I had a thought and smiled. I thought some and soon the books started circling around me slowly. I then heard footsteps down the hall.
"Maxine, Herobrine told me to find...you...whoa." I heard the deep voice of Withe say. "That's amazing, Maxine! I didn't know you knew sorcery!" He poked a book and chuckled as it bobbed.
"I don't, well, not yet." I said. I made them all fall back down. He helped me put them all back and then we both started on our way back to the portal. Herobirne's already at home.
"That was amazing, Maxine, was that really the first time you've done sorcery?"
"Y-yea. I-If I can't really fight t-then I can at least learn t-to defend myself." I smiled. "D-Don't tell Herobrine."
"Why?"
"I'd like to practice in secret. I'd don't want him to expect me to be good at it and make fun of me when he sees I'm not."
"But you are good at it." We heard and both jumped. We looked in front of us to see Notch. "And I highly doubt he'd make fun of you, your pretty important to him if you couldn't tell by him burning and exploding an entire castle for you."
I blushed. Of course I remember it, it has to have saved my life, killing my father and broth's evil reign also. But hearing someone say that I mean a lot to Herobirne just kind of makes my heart stop.
"What do you mean I'm good?" I asked. He joined our walking.
"A levitation spell like you did, especially making them circle around you like you did AND talking to him while you did that. It would take enormous amounts of practice for someone starting out, and even longer to do it without breaking concentration like that."
"He's right, Maxine. Your already really far just on day one."
"Heh." I blushed more, my face must be the shade of an apple. "We should get back to the castle. I need to go to the overworld still to get more food, stone, and wood for the castle."
"You can get some here, Maxine." Notch offered but I shook my head.
"I like going to the overworld, I kind of miss it." I shrugged.
