Repeating Mistakes

"Where did you take my queen, Ender?" Herobrine growled, glaring daggers into me. I rolled my eyes, plopping down onto the couch against his office wall.

"Calming her down after you decided to break her for days, your highness." I answered, venom dripping from my words. He calmed down but looked away, dragging his hand through his hair with a heavy sigh. "We went to the place I go when I'm stressed since she really needed it this time." I won't tell him she was starting to crack again but there's no way I'm letting it slide.

"Did I really mess up that bad this time?"

"Yeah, yeah you did. As your friend, I'd say to try not making her search for you after a jealous tantrum." He looked back at me, showing he's heard enough of that all day. "But as your best friend, I'm telling you to cut that shit out."

His eyes widened a little at my passive aggressive rage. I'm usually better at hiding, she really is making me slip. It's like day one all over again.

"Seeing as you haven't even had the guts to ask her out in the first place, your overly jealous BS is just annoying and frustrating." He looked away again, lowering his head in a failed attempt to hide. Usually I just stop here but all this turned from a cute ship to a frustrating hope. Who knows, mayne it's better if that didn't if this is how it's going to be. After a few seconds of silence he glanced back at me, annoyed.

"And why do you care so much?" He grumbled.

I gave a heavy, heavy breath out, my enderman side coming out slightly as the hiss they make mixed with it. In the blink of an eye I teleported in front of the desk, slamming my hand into the top of it. He jumped back, giving me a surprised look, leaning as far as he could from me without tipping the chair over.

"And here you are making the same mistakes!" I yelled. "First you get jealous of Ed simply from him hugging her to comfort her, than you get jealous of me, your best friend, because I had to comfort your crush from something you caused." I took a deep breath to calm down, leaning over the desk slightly more calmed down. "I really am rooting for you two, Brine. I really am, but seeing as you can't simply ask her out instead of giving her vague answers, acting like you own her now, and keeping her confused, maybe it's better you don't get together."

He sat there shocked, guilt slowly making it's way in. I don't even feel bad, this mess has gone on long enough. I know he's selfish and territorial but this is an extreme. I sat back in the chair in front of his desk, holding my face tiredly.

"No ones planning to take her away from you, bud." I said, quietly this time. "But if you keep this up, they won't need to."

I hummed slightly, cutting up some vegetables and red mushrooms before dumping them in the cauldron. It took about a day but I think I'm finally OK. A day of locking myself in my room and Endie coming to make sure I was OK for Creeps since I hadn't unlocked the door either. I haven't even been out of bed actually. I continued cooking, thankful I get to make dinner again for once. I was new to it but I got pretty good at it in the other house.

"Whatcha cookin'?" Endie asked, popping in beside me. I jumped seeing as it scared the mess out of me, but he just chuckled and waited for an answer.

"Just some stew." I smiled, getting back to work.

"Can I have some when your done?"

"Fine, but don't make fun of me after." I pouted. "I haven't gotten to cook in a while."

"I'm sure it'll be fine." He gently took the diamond knife (I swear Brine has an addiction to diamonds) away from me before mumbling 'heads up'.

"Maxine?!" Creeps called. I turned and got tackled into a hug. Endie chuckled and I laughed, hugging her back. "You had me worried, why wouldn't you just let me come visit?"

"Because the door was locked and I didn't plan on getting out of bed." She pouted and looked over at Endie. He smiled and shrugged.

"You asked me to check on her, not to unlock the door."

"Grrr. Whatever." She hissed, letting go of me. "You almost done, Max? I want to see how good your cooking is." My face heated up some and I smiled, looking away from them.

"It's probably not that good, stop hyping it up, you two."

"Maxine is cooking? Awesome, I want some, too!" Bones cheered, waltzing in as well.

"Can't wait, Maxine. I'm starving." Withe chuckled, following not far behind Bones. I sighed but it felt nice being around them all.
