I was in the castles library, finding books to read to pass the time. I've been here for a week now and I still haven't gone to the overworld in fear that Herobrine isn't telling me the truth. I pulled down a book and flipped through the pages, but I wasn't reading, but remembering what we had talked about the other day...
"Hey, Hero?" I asked, sitting in the corner of his office. It's a circular (as circular as you can get in Minecraft :P) room with a desk in the back and bookshelves lining the walls, papers in very tall stacks around the desk.
"First off, don't call me that." He growled, in a very bad mood this morning. "I'm working, what do you want?"
"H-heh, sorry. It's not that important a-anyway."
Before he could say anything I quickly hurried out of the room, hoping he would forget about that but knowing he never did.
I was knocked out of the memory when I heard footsteps behind me and a familiar deep voice talk to me.
"Morning, Maxine." Herobrine greeted with a large yawn. My face warmed as I turned around. I couldn't help smiling.
"Morning, Hero. N-nice hair."
"First off, don't call me that,"
He sat down at a table right beside me, roughly pulling me down to sit beside him but not enough to really hurt. He's just a rough person.
"Never!" I smiled happily.
"Second, that was fucking adorable,"
I blushed at as he smirked in victory. I growled and looked away but my face still burned.
"Third?" I asked. He didn't really sound finished.
"Forth," he said just to tease me. "What were you about to ask the other day?"
Damn it.
"No." I said stubbornly crossing my arms. Not the most mature choice but oh well. He frowned. " You were a jerk to me."
He sighed in frustration and I got up, going to put the book I had away. The runaway tactic didn't work this time, he followed me anyway.
"Fine, I'm so sorry my dear queen of the Nether." He said dramatically, not to mention sarcastically, but not at all amused. "Better?"
"N-No, go away." I said, my face was redder then an apple from his little performance.
I was about to walk off when he grabbed my waist and switched us so I was trapped between him and a shelf.
"What will make you better?" He sighed tiredly.
Well, I haven't been to the surface yet.
"Let's go on an adventure." I said happily.
"This bitch-"
"What was that?"
"I said I'll meet you at the front door!"
Herobrine's POV
Why does this woman have to be so difficult?!
I went to my room and changed into a blue short sleeve and some jeans, topping it off with a black jacket. Not to toot my own horn, but damn. I stopped by the kitchen and grabbed some food. We're going to need it.
I have a pretty good idea of where our little adventure is going.
Maxine's POV
I grabbed some clothes at random and tossed them on. (Just look at the picture :P) I grabbed my sword, ax, and picaxe, ready for anything.
I jogged down the hall and smiled happily once I got to the front doors.
"Let's go!"
~~~~~~
"Hero, slow down!" I called, chasing after him. He isn't in a very good mood today, is he?
"No, you hurry up." He replied, continuing to walk. I sighed in frustration.
"Why are you in such a bad mood?"
"I'm not."
"That's a lie."
"And how is that?"
"Because your never in a good mood." I smirked and he growled.
I don't know what we have, not like I did before I was sent back to the castle, and definitely not now. I like to think of him as my best friend but in reality he actually does hate me. And if he doesn't, he has a funny way of showing that.
"So where are we going?"
He smiled at this question and didn't even answer it. His answer was taking my hand so I'd catch up.
That worries me.
"OK, we are almost there. Close your eyes." He ordered.
I obeyed and rather then take my hand, he went behind me and put both hands on my waist. My face turned warm as I heard him chuckled close to my ear.
Damn this undead asshole.
He lead me forward for a while, making me dodge trees back, forth, and so on. We finally stopped and I was allowed to open my eyes again.
"Woah..."
I guess at some point he had teleported us underground an the things we were dodging stopped being trees and were actually mobs.
We were in a huge cavern, blocks and blocks away from the ground. The cavern wasn't narrow either, it was around a hundred blocks wide. You could see tons of diamond and gold ores glowing in the light over lava falls in the distance.
"I know, right?" He chuckled. He came out from behind me to beside me. "I found this place a few months ago."
I was about to reply when he went to the edge of the cliff we stood on and sat down. I hesitated. He noticed it and frowned.
"I'm not going to shove you off." He sighed, turning back to the cavern. Why did he look so down all of the sudden?
