I got to my room and went in my changing room, putting on a long sleeve night gown. I wasn't allowed to wear pants.
I sat on my bed quietly awaiting Herobrine. It struck my mind that I was extremely tired but wouldn't go to sleep in fear I would miss him.
"Sorry, had some things to take care of before I got here." He said as he teleported in, locking my door while he was at it.
"It's fine, what's up?"
"Creeps, Bones, and Ender are missing." He stated. I felt my heart drop. "They went on a mission last night that should have only taken till this morning at most."
"What was it?"
"That is-"
"Herobrine."
"They were assigned to a mission in the town over but as far as I know the person I have set up in that town says they never even made it there."
He wouldn't state it directly but I could tell he was worried. He couldn't stop moving for even a second, he wouldn't make eye contact with me, and his voice cracked a few time.
"I can tell your worried, Herobrine." I said once he went quiet. He hesitated from answering back to me for a few seconds.
"Maxine this is all my fault." He sighed. "If I didn't put them on all these dangerous missions then maybe they would be here."
Would be here?....
I got up and hugged him, surprising him by a lot. What surprised me is that he actually hugged back.
"It isn't your fault, they knew what they were getting into as much as you knew. And I'm certain they will come back." I said quietly. I felt his grip around me tighten.
"How can you be so confident in them?"
"How can you not?"
We hugged for a while longer till he broke it and smiled.
"Thanks, Max."
"No problem." I smiled.
He teleported away and once again I was left to an empty room. I looked towards the door. My brother and father would be asleep by now, I just need to hide from guards.
I unlocked my door and peeked out, making sure the coast was clear. I went out into the hallway, the quartz and coal block checkered pattern of the floor cold under my feet.
I made my way down the hall and downstairs quietly. I got down and dodged guards as they passed. The dungeon's door was all the way down the hall so it took me longer.
I got to the door and took the keys off the dozing off guards of the door. I unlocked it then walked in, passing multiple cells of starving and evil people. I got to the end and looked in.
I was right.
I slipped the keys through the bars and beside Bones's hand. I smiled and turned to go back. I made it to my room and was glad they would be OK. But I knew that one guard saw me, I know he will tell them.
And I'm about to get punished.

Herobrine's POV
I'm just sitting here, on my throne, and Wither looks around the nether incase they got lost here, because none of them are from the nether. I heard three pairs of footsteps running down the hall. In came my tired friends.
"Creeps! Ender! Bones! Thank notch your OK!!" I yelled, hopping off the throne.
"Heh, you thanking your brother? You did actually worry about us." Creeps laughed but I ignored that comment.
"Of course I did you three are my only friends." I said bluntly.
"He finally admits it." Bones chuckled. "We got kidnapped by another kingdom who clearly doesn't like hybrid mobs."
"How did you escape?"
"We don't know."
"What?"
"We passed out from injuries mid day and when we woke up the keys had been tossed by Bones."
Wait a second, a kingdom that hates hybrids, nearby, and mysterious helper.
"Guys, Max saved you."
"S-she what?" Creeps asked.
And so I told them the story. The story of a sad princess bound to her castle by her duty and abusive family. A story of how she escaped but was betrayed by her allies, and even the story of the ball.
"Herobrine." Bones smirked. "You love her don't you?"
"No, she's just..... different." I corrected. "She likes creepy lighting of red stone torches and garden mazes at night. No matter how, and I know you'll kill me later for this, rough I was with her to the point she even got bruises, she never told. She didn't want me in trouble with you guys, even when I hurt her emotionally she stayed."
"Then you should return the favor." Ender said.
"I will!" I said, confidently.
I was so happy then, but that would soon wash away.
