Herobrine's POV

I teleported to my castle's throne room and two pig men came over quickly.

"Hello, sir."

"Welcome back."

"Nice to be back. Go take these to the treasure room. I need to go do something and I'll be back."

"Yes, sir." They nodded then each grabbed a bag and went down the hall and out of sight.

"Well look who finally decided to come back." A deeper voice then mines said. I growled and turned behind me. Wither came in, smug as ever. Two nether skulls levitated just above his shoulders. One with a smirk and the other was asleep.

"Why do you care?" I sighed.

"I see you got a lot of nether stars, must be a pretty big little assignment." He smirked. "We want in." the smirking head chuckled.

"No, I've got my own problems to deal wi-"

"HEROBRINE!!!!"

Oh you have got to be kidding me! Did they finish early?!?!?!? Oh I am so dead meat! Creeps was stomping down the hall towards us. We shared a look and looked back to her, both knowing that she was ready to kill right about now. Bones and Ender followed behind, trying to calm down the creeper girl.

"What did you do this time?!" Withe whispered.

"Shut up, she's coming!" I snapped.

"Herobrine, where is she?!" Creeps growled.

"I have no idea what your-" Ender growled, now if he growled it's not a very good sign. "She just went mining."

"Oh," She said, calming down. "Sorry." She was pretty red, either from embarrassment or because she made a fool of herself in front of Wither. It's no secret to me, bones, or Ender that she likes him, but let's let her think it is. For now.

I teleported them to the house, surprised to see her asleep on the couch. Her hair was matted, her clothes were dirty, and she looked absolutely exhausted. Why did she have to come back?! And why do I feel bad for her?...

She woke up from the door closing and shot up, glaring at me.

"Herobrine, you douche! I can't believe you-" She saw the others starting to get angry and sighed. "Don't forget to come teleport me home next time." She sighed, a slight growl under her breath that they didn't hear.

"I had to go to the castle and forgot." I shrugged. She rolled her eyes and left to put away her tools.

"You two really don't get along." Creeps laughed, going upstairs. "I'm tired, Mission accomplished by the way, the diamonds and emeralds are in the treasure room and the dirtbag is in the dungeon."

They left to go upstairs and I went to my room downstairs. Max went to her room without a word to me but before she did she tossed me some diamonds. I hopped onto my bed and leaned on the wall. I looked at the diamond in my hand.

"Why didn't she tell the others?" I asked myself. I shook my head and set the diamond on the wooden plank block that held the torch lighting the room in a creepy yellow glow. The others find it creepy yet Maxine.... Max finds it nice. This girl is making my brain hurt, damn it.

I grabbed the letter with the princess's picture and could just barely hold back a laugh. Oh, you clever, clever girl.

Looks like I found a way to get ride of you after all,

Princess Maxine.~

~~~~~
I woke up early and got everyone but Maxine up, taking them outside just in case her little super hearing trick kicks in.
"Herobrine, what is it?" Creeps said grumpily. I held up the picture and they gasped.
"Is that-"
"Yes. Maxine is princess of the Diamond city, runaway princess and air to the throne once her dad dies." I smirked. "I was given two huge bags of nether stars to take her back and felt you three should be informed."
"I won't let you take her! She had to have run away for a reason!"
"Creeps, even if I didn't want her gone we pretty much have to. She's weak. She hardly survived a day before we found her and she wouldn't be alive if you three didn't find her." I explained.
They wanted to protest, I could see it on their faces, but they didn't. They all knew they had given up on thinking Max would learn to survive.
"Fine, only if your sure she will be OK." Ender said and I nodded.
"We need to somehow convince her to go then."
And so, the unexpected conversation of how we were to get ride of the girl who had grown on everyone, even a tiny dark part of me. She woke up in the afternoon and I could see Creeps was hurt by having to do this.
"The four of us have to go on big mission. Herobrine is going to teleport you somewhere safe." Creeps explained to her.
"Oh, OK." She said and smiled towards me, showing yesterday was forgiven. "Let's go, Herobrine."
Her egear ness made me want to go back on this although the reason why was unclear. She looped her arm around mines and we teleported away, ending up in the throne room of Diamnod castle.
"W-wait! NO! Herobrine, please!" She pleaded as guards began taking her away. I couldn't help but smirk at her reaction. Of course I plan on visiting her, it's fun to tick her off, but something in her eyes as she disappeared around the corner made me question why I hated her so much. That look....
That look of betrayal.
