Alex's p.o.v
I woke up In a sweat in my bed. I rubbed my eyes and realized it was all a dream. I quickly texted Shelby and she responded with "hey".
She was alive. I let out a sigh of relief and rubbed my fingers through my hair and walked down the hallway. Natalie walked out the door as soon as I opened my door. I walked to the kitchen and Hayes was eating cereal.
"You ok? It looks like you've seen a ghost!" He asked
"Yea just a bad dream." I said grabbing a glass of milk.
"Must have been pretty bad!" He laughed
"Yea, the worst dream you could imagine." I said sitting at the table.
"Well, I have to go to the dance studio,so you'll have to stay here. There is 50 bucks under the microwave if you want to order some food and my number and Natalie's number is on the fridge!" He said putting his bowl in the sink
"K, thanks!" I said putting my glass in the sink.
"Bye bud!" He said waving bye walking out the door
I gave him a wave and pulled out my phone.

Me-FaceTime?
She instantly facetimed me. I answered and her beautiful face was there.
"Hey!" She chirped
"Hey, I'm glad you're alive!"
"What are you talking about?"
"I had a nightmare you were in a wreck and died."
"Oh my gosh, that's a um different dream." She laughed
I loved her laughed and her face.
"So when are you allowed to hang?" I asked
"Not until next week!"
"Ugh!"
"Yea I know, it sucks. I have to hang with my brother!"
I laughed
"When do you get your cast off?" I asked
"Um in 2 weeks."
"Oh cool."
"So, how about we watch netflix?" She asked
"How da heck we gonna do dat?"
"Well I'll watch a movie on my ipad and you can watch the same one on TV!"
"K, better than nothing." I said turning netflix on
"So what we watching!?" She asked plopping on her bed
"Um, how about....."you're next"!? I asked
"Um, I get scared really easily!" She whined
"Oh cry me a river. We're watching it!" I said clicking on it
"Fine!" She sighed
We mainly screamed and laughed at the part where the girl ran into the wire.
"That was better than expected!" She said yawning
"Yea!" I said yawning also
We laughed
"I think I'm gonna take a nap!" She said
"K, I'll talk to you later!"
"K, bye!"
I waved and hung up
I went to the kitchen a grabbed am apple. I took a bite and went to sag down, but someone knocked on the door.
I ran over and looked through the peep hole.
It was that Luke kid.
"Hey what are you doing here?" I asked opening it
"Um, well I was wondering if you wanted to hang?"
"Uh, I don't know."
"C'mon I know we got off on the wrong foot,but you seem cool!"
"How did you know I was here?"
"Shelby told me."
"Oh." I said as my heart stopped knowing that they might get back together
"So want to hang?"
"Sure." I said walking outside
I texted Hayes and he said it was fine
We walked to a skate park.
"So, are you and Shelby back?" I asked
"Yea, well kind of. I mean we are talking,but I haven't ask her yet."
"Oh, cool."
"Are you guys a thing?"
I didn't want to answer, cause I knew that when I said no he would ask her.
"Well we are talking."
"Really!?" He said stopping
"Um yea."
"Oh, sorry she told me that you were just friends and nothing more. "
She thought of me just as a friend. I knew it. She doesn't feel the same.
"Well, I don't really know." I finally said
"Oh, is it cool I ask her out?" He asked
"Uh, sure." I sighed
"Thanks bro!" He said as we skated down a ramp
What am I doing! I just gave permission for him to date my girl! I could ask her out before him. But I can't. I can't just lose her though. I sit on a bench and I see Luke on the phone. He looks really happy and hangs up the phone. He runs over here.
"She said yes dude!" He said
That's it, those words. I lost her.
