Alex's p.o.v
"So Shawn and Madison broke up?" I asked Shelby while drinking hot chocolate
"Yea they just decided it would be best if they saw other people."
"What about Reagan and um the other kid?"
"Ryder. And they were fine with it. They knew that they were not doing good." She said throwing away her Starbucks
"Oh ok." I said doing the same
"Where do you want to go to now?" I asked
"Um lets go to the park!"
"K leggo!" I said wrapping my arm around her
"You know I was thinking. I really like you." I said swinging beside Shelby
"And I really like you too." She laughed
"No, like I really like you. And I also have. I want you to be my girlfriend Shelby. Please?" I said grabbing her hands
"Alex of course!" She said hugging me
We talked for hours until we decided to go home.
"I'm so happy." I said grabbing Shelby's hand
"I am too!" She pecked my cheek
We walked in her house.
"Jake give me that!" Sophia yelled
"Give me the cupcake!" He said back
We ran in there and Jake had a spoon full of batter, holding it away from Sophia.
"NO!"
"Fine!" He flung the spoon in her face
"Jacob Andrew!" She said hitting him
He laughed and so did we.
"Let me help mom." Shelby laughed
"Thank you!"
Shelby snatched the cupcake and ate it.
"SHELBY!" Her mom yelled
"Hey I was gonna eat that!" Jake whined
"Everyone out of my kitchen!"Sophia yelled
We laughed and walked to the living room.
"Jake do you have a girlfriend yet?" Shelby asked
"Um not quite."
"What do you mean?"
"Well there's this girl named Kylie and she's amazing. We hang out all the time and she goes to my school. I just haven't got the guts to ask her out."
"Oh you little whimp!" Shelby laughed
"Well, do you have a boyfriend?" He snapped
"Matter of fact I do!" She snapped back
"Oh really?"
"Yep and he's sitting beside me!" She said looking up at me
"Are you serious?"
"Yep!"
"I called it!" Sophia yelled
We all laughed and turned on a movie.
I finally got her and life couldn't get better. I pulled her closer and she snuggled in my chest.
"I'm tired." She yawned
"Go to sleep baby." I said rubbing her back
"Mmk" she said hugging me tight
I kissed her forehead and she smiled. I really do love her.
