Shelby ended up going to her aunts house for two weeks. She finished school shortly after. Her and alex became close but something was weird. It was like they didn't want to be that close again. When summer first started Shelby went to an open mic night and sang with Jake. A big music producer was there and really liked them. He talked to Sophia and Taylor and signed with Jake and Shelby. They were going to be on tour next week and Shelby was dreading the good bye to Alex.
Alex's p.o.v
"We need to talk." Shelby said looking at me.
"About what?"
"Us. I mean like how we were so close and how we went on crazy adventures and....kissed. Now it's like we can't be our selves. I miss our old conversations and I know that I'm about to leave and it's going to be hard to talk while I'm performing, but we need to stay in touch and that way when I get back we can start over." She said
"I'm really am going to miss you. I hat when we aren't together and I promise the day you get back we are going to do what we use to do. Just hang out! But you have to promise me one thing."
"What?"
"You'll never ever forget me. Even if you become so famous and everybody is in love with you. You can still tell people. Alex Grier is my bestfriend."
"I promise!"
They hugged it out and soon it was time to leave. Sophia and Taylor drove to to the airport with the kids,Nash, and Alex. It was hard but eventually everyone said good bye. Taylor and Sophia went with them on the plane since they would go on tour with them. They got in Florida to meet up with the producer and got on the tour bus. They traveled the country. And flew to Australia and London. They spent 3 years traveling. The twins did homeschooling. Shelby and Alex talked every night, but after he first year it got hard. Alex got caught up in school and Shelby got caught up in music. By the time all the touring and music stuff was over so was high school and Alex and Shelby's friendship. Shelby was accepted into Manhattan school of music in New York and Jake was accepted into oberlin conservatory of music,which is in Ohio. It was Shelby's first day.
Shelby's p.o.v
"I can't believe I live so far from my family!" I told my best friend Olivia.
"I know, you should have went to the school your brother did."
"But this school had better views!"
"True."
We continued to walk until I was at my class.
"I'll text you at lunch." I said walking in
"K, see ya later!"
I smiled and walked in. I sat behind a really tall guy, which wasn't the best idea.
"Alright class, please open your books up my read pages, 55-69 please. We will have a test over it Friday." Mrs.nile said
I reached to grab my highlighters and I had forgot them in my dorm. I tapped the boy in front of me shoulder.
"Yea?" He asked
I couldn't believe my eyes.
"Alex?"
