Twenty one

Shelby's p.o.v
I walked into my advance chorus class, with Alex in my head. He was so hot. Why did I not call him. I started humming a song when a few people walked in. I looked up to see Alex. We locked eyes and he smiled. I smiled back. He sat beside me.
"So you are in this class?"
He asked
"Yep!" I smiled
"Then I guess it won't be that bad." He winked
I blushed and looked toward the front. He has always been such a flirt. The teacher started talking. Bla bla bla. Soon the last bell rang.
"So, how about we go to subway now?"
I turn to see that familiar hot face. I smirked.
"Lego!" I said latching arms with him. He smiled and we walked to our campuses subway. After we ordered I went up to pay.
"Ohhhh no! This is me!" He said slipping the lady 20 bucks.
"No Alex!" I said hitting him
"Thank you!" He said getting the change
We sat down.
"You didn't have to do That!" I said
"But I wanted to!"
I smirked. We started catching up on things and just talking. I really enjoyed this. He just got done telling a really funny story when someone walked over to us.
"Hey babe!" A girl said to him
"Oh hey!" He said wiping his mouth
"I thought you were going to eat with a friend?" She asked
"This is my friend Shelby. Shelby this is my my girlfriend violet."
My heart dropped girlfriend.
I had a few boyfriends but none that lasted over 2 months.
"Nice to meet you!" I said shaking her hand.
"You too!" She says smiling
"What are you dong here?" He asked her
"Oh well I didn't have anything to do so I thought I could still go. If thats ok with you hun?" She said looking at me. Is she really going to do this.
"Actually that's perfect we can all eat together!" I said smiling. She looked ticked and faked smiled.
"Great!" She said sitting down with her sub. After about 5 minuets Alex and I were finished but  violet still had a lot left.
"I think we're going to go. See you tomorrow babe!" Alex said kissing violets head
"You're leaving me here?" She asked
"Well yea. You still have more then half your sub left and we're done." He said
She rolled her eyes and nodded.
"Bye." She said finishing her sub
We walked out.
"You didn't have to do that." I said
"It's fine! She was being a jerk. I don't know why she was acting That way. She's usually cool."
"Oh it's fine. She's just trying to make sure someone don't take you away." I laughed
"Only you could do that." I heard him mumble.
I looked at him and smiled. I tried to play it off like I didn't hear. We ended up going to see a movie. We walked in and barley anybody was here.
"So where does Jake go?" Alex asked
"Some music school in Ohio."
"I bet you miss him."
"Yea a lot." I looked down
It was silent for a minuet.
"You broke our promise."
