Alex's p.o.v
I remember the last day Shelby called me. She told me good bye instead of see you later. I knew that this was going to be one of the last conversations we would have together. I became really depressed because I didn't have anyone. I stated singing and playing guitar, to try to get my head cleared. I was accepted into a really big college. I haven't talked to Shelby in forever and I don't know if I want to. She broke our promise. I walked in to my class and started to write a new song. I was writing the chorus when someone touches my shoulder. I turned to see the beautiful face who left me 3 years ago.
"Alex!?" She said
"Shelby!"
"Oh my gosh, I haven't seen you in forever! Your like 6'5 now!" She said wrapping her arms around my neck.
"Yea and your like what 5'1?" I laughed
"Shut up!"
We continued to hug. It felt amazing. I didn't want to let go but the professor walked in. We blushed and sat down. After class I waited for her. Even though I didn't really want to see her, I couldn't help but remember our first kiss and all the wonderful memories.
"Hey maybe after school you want to go to subway?" I asked as she walked out
"Oh yea! That sounds awesome! See you later!" She said running to her next class.
"see you later" rang in my head. That is what should have been said 2 years ago. We could still be close and not so.......awkward. I walked to my next class and sat down. I was the only one in there. Someone walked in but I didn't see who is was.
"Hey baby!"
I looked up to see my girlfriend violet. Even though my heart belonged to Shelby. I couldn't let her stop me from living.
"Oh hey beautiful!"
"I was thinking we could catch a movie after school!" She smiled
"Well actually I was going to Subway with an old friend." I said scratching my neck
"Oh I understand! We can go tomorrow!"
"Unless you want to go with?" I asked
"Oh no! Go hang out with your friend! We are always together!"
I nodded
That's why I love violet. She is always cool with everything and never gets jealous! I started doing some homework when more kids filed in. The teacher came in shortly. Alright class, it has come to my discovery that some of you who are going to be moved to a more advanced portion of this class. If I call your name please go to mrs.lamborts room.

I looked up and slowly gathered my things. I looked back at violet and she made a sad face. This was our only class together. I waved bye and walked down to my new class. I stepped in and there were 5 other people. I didn't know a lot besides.........Shelby.
