ADAM POV

Today was a very special day. It was Taylor's birthday.

It started out with Lottie and I waking up to make breakfast while Taylor slept a little longer, which is much easier said than done as she was sleeping with all her limbs wrapped around me....but I broke free and woke up Lottie too.Since it was a thursday, we had to be up especially early in order to celebrate a little before Lottie had to go to school. Luckily I had taken the day off and Taylor didn't have any auditions at the moment, since it was getting close to Christmas and castings had stopped for the holidays, so we would be able to spend the whole day together.

"Ok, so we have to tiptoe in, and then you can climb up and wake up Taylor. Remember to say happy birthday... got it?" I asked Lottie, who nodded excitedly as we started heading down the hallway. I had closed the door so we wouldn't wake her, which meant I now had to open the door with a tray in my hands and a bouncy 5 year old at my feet.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TAYLOR!" Lottie screamed, rushing in as soon as I opened the door and jumping onto the bed.

Taylor's eyes flew open and she sat up in bed, obviously only pretending to be asleep when we came in.

"Hey Lottie! Thank you my darling!" Taylor said, greeting lottie with a huge hug and kisses all over her face.

"We made you breakfast in bed!" Lottie told her, as she looked up to me spotting the tray with steaming coffee and a stack of blueberry pancakes.

"WOW! I sure am a very lucky girl!" She exclaimed as I placed the tray down, "Hey handsome!"

"Happy Birthday love." I said, placing a delicate kiss on her cheek.

Soon I had to get up to get Lottie ready and off to school, but not before Taylor opened her present from Lottie which consisted of a silver monkey shaped ring and a handmade card.

"Have a great day Lottie! See you later!" Taylor said as we left the apartment hand in hand.

"I'll be back in 20 minutes!" I told her, winking at her as she stayed in bed drinking her coffee.

15 minutes later I made my way into the apartment, having rushed back from Lottie's school, expecting to find Taylor still in bed.... but the bed was empty and there was an angelic voice coming from the bathroom. I snuck over, listening to my girlfriend sing her heart out in the shower, and took a peek in. She had her back to the door, so I decided to get undressed again and join her in the shower.

"Oh my god!" Taylor screamed as I placed my arms around her, "What the hell Adam! You scared me on my birthday?" She said, pouting but also trying hard not to laugh as she looked me up and down.

"Like what you see babe?" I said, smirking at her as she blushed.

"Nah...I've seen better." She replied, turning her back to me.

"Hmmm....but have you ever felt better than this?" I asked, wrapping my arms around her body again and placing kisses all the way down her neck and shoulder.

TAYLOR POV

Somehow my 10 minute shower ended up taking almost an hour once Adam got in the shower, scaring the bejesus out of me. Once we were dry, we decided to go for a walk. It was a lovely day, despite being December, so we went to Central Park. It had snowed last night and everything was glistening and pure looking- it was beautiful.

We stopped at a bench overlooking the frozen pond. I was getting a little cold, having stupidly neglected to wear a hat or scarf since it was so sunny out, so Adam had his arm around me and my head leaning on his chest.
