TAYLOR POV
The past few months completely flew by. Between a newborn baby, birthdays, Christmas, and wedding planning I kept myself very busy.
Lottie took her big sister role very seriously from the get go and became a little superstar around the house. She would help feed Mia and give her baths, she would push the stroller through the park, and she would even keep as quiet as a mouse when Mia would nap in the living room.
Adam decided to set up his own photography business, allowing him to work more from home, and it was thriving already after only about 4 months. He had contracts with local businesses as well as a few one off shoots for catalogues and magazines.
I was still just staying at home, although I had helped make the costumes for the acting school's holiday show. Mia kept me busy enough and it was amazing to see how much she has grown in the last 7 months! Hitting all her milestones and charming everyone who meets her.
My family came to New York for Christmas which was amazing. They got to meet Mia and we got to enjoy Christmas at home with the people we cared about most.
Today was the day before our wedding and it was mayhem in the apartment. We had decided to get married at an old farm conversion in upstate New York and we were all heading up there this afternoon to stay in 2 different cute little inns for the night.
"LOTTIE! I need to pack your dress up....please take it off! You get to wear it all day tomorrow!" I called down the hall where Lottie was dancing around in her flower girl dress.
"Do I have to mommy?" She asked, giving me her signature puppy dog eyes.
"Yes." I replied, staring at her until she relented and came over to get it off.
Lottie and Mia both had lilac coloured dresses which matched my 3 bridesmaids (Sophia, Madelyn, and Rach who I knew from college and acting), while I had a fishtail style halter neck dress with beaded embellishments. Calvin and his groomsmen were wearing black suits with white shirts and black bow ties.....it was a little easier for them.
"Ok babe....The guys are here so we are heading out....I will see to tomorrow. I'll be the one in the suit staring at you from the end of the aisle." Adam said, wrapping his arms around my waist and looking down at me.
"And I'll be the one in the sparkly white dress, walking towards you down the aisle." I reply, smirking slightly at him. He just kept looking at me. "Are you going to kiss me, husband-to-be, or just stand there?"
He smirked back at me and leaned down slightly to kiss me.
"EWWW!" We heard Lottie say behind us, making us pull away with smiles on our faces and laughing slightly.
"Bye bug! I'll see you tomorrow, ok?" Adam said, bending down to give Lottie a hug.
"See you soon daddy!!" She replied, throwing her arms around his neck and kissing his cheek. She will always be a daddy's girl....and Mia is too....
Once Adam had said goodbye to all his girls, including the two cats who always stood guard by Mia's playpen when she was in it, he was on his way. This left me to get the girls ready and out the door in order to get to the inn in time for our mini pampering session this evening.
3 hours later I pulled up to the inn with the girls sleeping in the backseats of the car and the boot full of wedding stuff.
"Tay!" My bridesmaids all squealed, running out to the car and wrapping me in a giant group hug. We hadn't all seen each other since they were fitted for their dresses 2 months ago, and none of them had seen my dress yet.
