Chapter 14: Back to the Start

Me: Hey, guys!

You: WHAT THE HELL, MATE?! IT'S BEEN TWO FREAKING WEEKS!!! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!

Me: Sorry! I know that I haven't updated for a loooong time. But there is a reason to it! I was busy with school work. I had a stressful two weeks, because I had to prepare for two oral presentations and a test. Sorry again!!!

You: Anyway, I wanna read now!

Me: Go ahead! Be my guest! Enjoy!

Chapter 14: Back to the Start

Doflamingo's POV

I felt my cheeks heat up suddenly and immediately turned around. "I'll do anything for you..." I muttered.

"Hm? Did you say something?" Cherry asked me and I slightly turned my head around to look at her over my shoulder.

I put on a fake smirk and shook my head. "No." I said and walked away. What the hell is wrong with me? I've been having these weird feelings for a while now. I need to get rid of these feelings. They're distracting me.

"Pica, come with me. I need to talk to you about something." I decided to tell Pica about these feelings, since he is the one I'm closest to who is on this ship. Once we entered my room I sat down on my bed and buried my face in my hands. "There's something wrong with me..."

"What do you mean, Doffy?" He asked in his high-pitched voice.

I gave a sigh and thought of a way to explain myself. "Well, I've been having weird feelings... when I'm around Cherry." I started. "I don't know what these feelings are, but I know that I kinda like it, but it confuses me as well." I turned my head towards his direction and he stared at me with a thoughtful expression.

"Hmm... Can you explain these feelings a bit more specifically?" He asked.

I thought for a second, before replying. "I guess I get a bit nervous when she's close to me and I feel this... fluttery feeling in my stomach. What the hell is this feeling? Have any idea?" I asked him and waited for his answer, desperately.

"I'm not an expert, but... if you told anyone about these feelings you get then they would all say that you like Cherry." He said, with his serious face. "In a romantic way." He added.

My eyes slightly widened and I started to laugh out loud. "Fufufufufufu! That was good! Really good joke! Fufufufufu!" He must be kidding. Me? Having feelings for someone?

"Doffy, I'm serious. If you don't believe me, go and ask Baby 5. She's the expert, right?" Pica said and left the room, leaving me alone.

I laid down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. I took off my shades and closed my eyes. Do I like her?

Yes.

No, I don't! I'm just probably sexually attracted to her.

I like her.

No! Ugh, what the hell am I doing? Arguing with myself.

[Timeskip – Rainbow Island]

(I hope you guys remember why the island is called Rainbow Island! For those who has forgotten, it's because the island is full of colorful flowers. And the island is also known as Flower Paradise)

Finally we arrived back on Rainbow Island, Cherry's home country. We left Pica and Buffalo to guard the ship. Even if this island was peaceful an all, anything could happen in any moment. So Baby 5, Gladius and I followed Cherry to her house.

Once we arrived outside of her door, Cherry seemed nervous. She glanced back at us and I nodded for her to go on. Then she opened the door and we all entered her house. The house was still the same as we had left it, but only a bit dusty now.

"So... where are we going to look first?" Baby 5 asked and looked around the house.

"The more important question should be: What does the box look like?" Gladius said.

Cherry turned around to face them and started explaining. "The box is pretty small, just like a jewelry box, it's burgundy colored and it has gold swirly patterns on it from what I can remember. I had seen it in the attic so it should be somewhere there." She told them and led the way to the attic.

Once we were up in the attic, we all started to search for the small box. I started to look through the boxes where there were some other small boxes in. I opened each box, but only found old jewelry, mails, papers and stuff. Nothing that looked like the box Cherry described. "Nothing in here." I said and moved to the next box and started to do my search there as well.

We should've brought Violet with us. She would've found the box easily with her ability.

After searching through three boxes full of random stuff, I saw a small burgundy colored box with golden swirls on it. I reached out and picked it up. I dusted it a bit, before turning my head around to tell Cherry, but then my curiosity got the better of me and I decided to open the box myself. I slowly opened it and saw some papers. I looked through all of them and nothing seemed interesting, until I reached to the last thing in the box.

What the...

CLIFFHANGER!!! MOHAHAHAHA!!! I feel so evil right now, because I didn't update for two weeks and now I leave you guys with a cliffhanger. PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!! But not only that, but the chapter was kinda short as well. SORRY!!!

Anyway, you'll just have to wait until the next chapter if you wanna know what Doffy found. ;)
