Star's POV

I decided to go back to my room, I don't know why but Jackie's presence is annoying me.
"I'll be in my room guys... have fun!" Was all that I said before I ran up the stairs two-by-two.
I flopped down on my bed... I was always there for Marco when he was sad... not Jackie... why is he so into her? I can think of millions of other girls better than her...
I looked at my door, hoping he would come running up the stairs telling me that he doesnt feel anything for Jackie... but nothing.
I sighed and eventually drifted off to sleep.

Marco's POV

I dont know what's wrong with Star, but I'm not going to run after her... I don't know why she's jealous! I give her so much time! Clearly she isn't interested, so of course I'm going to enjoy my time with Jackie, I mean, I HAVE been crushing on her for like 8 years...
"So what do you want to do now? This game is a bit boring..." I said and put my controller down. Jackie smiled at me. "Hm I don't know... what do you and Star usually do?" She asked and raised an eyebrow slightly. I blushed and thought. Well Jackie, Star and I usually battle dangerous monsters wanna do that? "Uh we usually just hang out and do some magic stuff.. you know... typical Star!" I said with a nervous giggle. Jackie rolled her eyes. "Let's do something YOU want to do... not what Star wants you to do!" Jackie said and put her hand on mine.
My face went redder than my hoodie. "But I enjoy doing those things!" I said and quickly pulled my hand away. "Well then I have no ideas..." She said and leaned away from me. Wait... she was leaning in? Did she.... no it can't be...
"Uh... We can go get a pizza or something..." I said and straightened out my hoodie. Jackie smiled. "That's more like it!" She said and patted my shoulder.
I got up. "So uh... are we walking?" I asked awkwardly. Jackie looked up at me. "Yeah sure." She said and went to the door. "Okay, I'm just gonna go tell Star!" I said and shot up the stairs.
I knocked on Star's bedroom door. No answer. She must be asleep or really mad... I peeped inside. Just asleep.
I silently opened her bedroom door and walked inside. I shook her slightly. "Star... wake up." I said as I shook her more. She finally opened her eyes and sat up straight. "Hey Star... Jackie and I are going to get a pizza... should I bring you anything?" I asked as she stared at me with a poker face. "No thank you." She said and got up. "Star what's wrong? You've been acting very weird today..." I said and put a hand on her shoulder. "It's nothing... now enjoy your date." She said and pushed my hand away. "I can't help you if I don't know what's wrong... see you later." I said and walked out.

Star's POV

Great! Just great!
Now he has a date with her...
This day cannot get any worse! Honestly I just want to die...
I could've done something to stop them... but I was a wimp! This is my own fault... doesnt he see that Jackie is just using him? I don't want him to get hurt...
