star vs the forces of love

Love? it can't be (pt 2)

STAR'S POV

"I think I love you."
Those words. Those few words I've been waiting so long for. Finally. He said them.

But I can't.
"Marco... I..." My mouth was dry and I couldn't stop the tears from flowing.
Marco looked stressed. "What is it?" He asked and put both of his hands on my shoulders. I violently shook my head. He got tears in his eyes too.
"Star, what are you trying to say?" Marco asked and shook me a bit.

"Marco... I don't love you." I said after some time. He looked crushed. "W-what?!" I looked away from him and coldly replied. "You heard me... I don't love you."
Marco let go of me and took a few steps back.
My head was spinning.
I do love him. But I can't tell him! He will get hurt.

Marco had tears streaming down his cheeks. "Star..." he stopped and just let out a defeated laugh. "I don't even know you anymore..." he said and walked out of my room.

I sat down on my bed. Marco...
