Star's POV

I marched out of the smoke and dust on the battlefield. It was more than 2 months we fought and we lost many of our troops to the monsters.

I miss my mom, I miss my dad, I miss Marco, I miss my life I had, I thought everything was cold at this point, but as I saw my last enemy drop, my heart was filled with pride.

I called my army into formation, everyone was tired and beaten up, including me. "Soldiers, we did it, for Mewnians and for Mewni. We may have lost many of our brothers and sisters in the battle, but we will forever be proud of them and we will keep their honours high." I spoke and they kneeled down on their knees. "Get up and stand proud soldiers, this calls for a celebration of the masses! Let us march to the castle and live in peace from now on!" I stuck my sword into the ground and saluted my army. There was a soft breeze and I truly felt tired but rested. It was finally over...

Or so I thought.

I heard the sarcastic clapping that could only belong to one person, Jackie. "Ohh come on Princess, give it up. Your petty little war meant nothing."

The hairs on my neck raised up and I turned around to face her. She was surrounded by a blue fire and had a snake-like grin. I whispered "Jackie..." and picked my sword up, my army followed my lead but I stopped them. "March ahead, soldiers, this one's mine."

They nodded in agreement and started moving towards the castle.

It was only her left.

"So? Feeling satisfied?" She asked and started circling me. "What's it to you?" I sneered and held my sword up. "Oh well, we have precious Marco at stake here..." She held me by the shoulders from behind and was speaking into my ear. I was stiffened. "L-Leave Marco out of this..." I tried to shake her off but her grip got more intense. "Why? Princess feeling jealous?" I was boiling with rage. "N-no... I have nothing to be jealous of." I was shaking. "He's a good kisser." I lost my sanity and turned around. "Take. It. Back." my voice was loud and clear. She gave me a taunting smile and bit her lip. "Oh silly princess..." Her voice was cold and sharp. I lifted my sword to swing it at her face but I looked at her eyes and it was like I was in a trance. I shook myself away from it and I yelled. "STOP IT!"

Jackie rolled her seafoam green eyes and licked off her lips. "Not even the strongest warrior can withstand the power of these eyes." I gulped and held my sword higher. "I-I am not fooled by you, Jackie Lynn Thomas!" She grabbed my wrist. "Come on princess, we all want the same thing. Love? isn't it? save the tears. Surrender. You can't always be the hero." I felt the chills in my spine and as I opened my mouth to speak, a sudden power overcame me, and I stood up and flung her to the floor.

"You're right, Jackie. We all do want love. I am the hero this time. You are an insane demon who stands no chance. If there's gonna be any surrendering done here it's gonna be from you!" I held my sword above her chest. "Say your prayers, Jackie." She looked at me with the same shit-eating grin she had from earlier. "You wouldn't do it princess..." The anger rushed through me like a river.

"You leave me no choice, Thomas." I lifted my sword up and stabbed down through her chest. There was a loud screech that sent ice cold blood through my veins, but I pressed harder into her as the blood poured out of her body and mouth. She disintegrated into a cloud of black smoke and drifted away with the breeze.

I felt calm, and like nobody can bring me down. Jackie is gone. Forever.

I picked up my sword and started my journey back to the castle. Nothing could bring me down right now.
