Sarah-

It'd been hot all week. Sarah didn't care though. She'd been thinking about finals, work, and her potential summer when she wasn't doing the first two.

She'd gotten into the zombie mode that everyone on campus got into around this time.

Study. Work. Study. Sleep. Maybe eat and stuff somewhere in between.

The library was packed after the most random shift Sarah had ever experienced at the Ice Cream Shoppe. The day had been dry. Barely any customers came through because it'd been so hot.

3:15 pm. Her shift was almost over.

She'd been sweeping up and about to clock out when an armada of indecisive little children decided to show up.

Apparently, Chelsea was giving a bunch of elementary school children a tour of the University.

"Oh hey, Sarah!" Chelsea perked, as a wave of children flew past them. "Sorry about this. They really wanted to some ice cream, and when I say really... I mean... REALLY."

Sarah laughed. "Yeah, it's fine as long as they don't slip. I haven't finished cleaning around yet."

"Oh good, and by the way I'm having a meeting for the Summer Scholar Program. I need like two maybe three more people. So, if you know anyone, Let. Me. Know. Plus, there's the private party for the people that join." Chelsea chatted away, so it took Sarah awhile to notice that a small child was tugging at her shirt.

"Excuse me ma'am." Sarah turned to see a beady brown-eyed little girl with the cutest little round face she'd ever seen. She couldn't help but awe inwardly as the little girl flipped her red hair and asked, "Can you take our orders please?"

Oh yeah. She technically was still on the clock.

So she preceded to take their orders. Each of which literally took twenty minutes to decide. Angie almost pulled her hair out in the back room because of all the oh-wait-no's they'd gotten. In the end though, they'd collected like $60 in tips.

Now though, she was in the supposed-to-be safe recluse of the library, but really thinking heading to the dorms to study. It was more packed than she'd ever seen in all her years at Clemson. Taking the elevator down to the basement, Sarah hoped that at least the last floor had enough people to where she could study in peace.

"Where to?" She'd been so busy silently cursing the freshman class for being so big, that she never noticed that a guy was standing in the elevator. He was really tall and had his shiny black hair up in a top-knot. His face looked vaguely familiar. She had the feeling that he was someone she knew, but Sarah couldn't quite put her finger on how she would know this person other than at a party.

"Umm, basement." She smiled as politely as possible.

"Cool. Too noisy on the other floors?"

"Yeah." Sarah nodded, and a deadly awkward silence filled the elevator. How long did the elevator take to got to the basement? It seemed like it was taking forever.

He broke the silence. "I'm Spencer." As soon as he introduced himself, the doors opened.

"Hey, I'm Sarah. Well, see ya around." Sarah rushed out of the elevator, and lucky enough that there weren't much people down on the last floor.
