Sarah-

"Sarah! HEY!" Angie's excited tone made her voice squeak. "Oh my gosh. It's been like...What? A month?"

"Hey." Sarah nodded, holding back giggles.

"You never text me." She rolled her eyes.

"I've been busy." Sarah rolled her eyes back. That wasn't necessarily true because Sarah did actually have time, but she wasn't going to let Angie know that.

"You've been busy drooling over that guy that you walked in with. That's why and I completely understand."Angie grinned and grabbed Sarah's hands. They sat down on a bench. "Now tell me everything!"

"About what? Him? His name is Spencer. He's my co-worker. If there's anyone drooling over him, it's the campers and you." She squinted her eyes, a grim expression rested on her face.

"Are you kidding? How can you ignore that?" Angie's eyes grew wide.

"Like this." Sarah looked straight at Angie.

"You're looking at him through the reflection in my eyes aren't you?" Angie smirked.

"You're crazy." Sarah rolled her eyes.

Angie sauntered over to Spencer, who was waiting for Marcus. "Hey, you must be Spencer. Sarah's told me so much about you."

"I really haven't!" Sarah shouted across the room. She sat inside the shoppe at a table close to the window.

"Oh, well, nice to meet ya." Spencer nodded. An awkward silence enclosed the bubble of their conversation. Sarah and Spencer looked at each other.

"I'll come back after this interview." He smiled politely and walked off.

"Oh. My. God. I know him. He's that freshman!" Angie squealed when Spencer was out of earshot.

"What?"

"Yeah. He's already got his associate's degree! Working on his bachelors and he's like eighteen."

"No way. I'm pretty sure I've seen him around campus before and he is NOT eighteen." Sarah glanced at Spencer, who was talking to Marcus.

"Well, that's how the rumor goes." Angie shrugged. "You should talk to him though. Give me the details."

"Yeah, no." She wondered what Spencer looked like when his hair wasn't up in a man bun.

"Why not?"

"That's his personal business. If he wanted to tell us, then he will."

Angie rolled her eyes. "Oh come on. I'll ask when he comes back."

"Oh! I was called for a meeting here." Sarah stood abruptly.

"I called you here." Angie looked up at Sarah. "Marcus wanted to ask you something, but he's doing the interview so I'll say it. He wants to give you the manager position."

"What?" Sarah's eyes widened. "I'm counseling a camp right now though."

"Yeah, I told him that. He really wants you to take over."

"Well, what about you?" Sarah sat back down. "You can totally take the job."

"Yeah, but I wasn't going to just take it from you like that. How's this sound? I can be in charge of the summer and when the semester starts back up, you'll be on for it."

"And you've told Marcus?" Sarah raised her eyebrows.

"Uhh, no. I was hoping you would." Angie's grin was asking for help.

"Oh fine."

"Oh thank you!" Angie jumped across the table and hugged Sarah.

"You're welcome." She laughed.
