Spencer-
A day off. It came a week late, but Spencer didn't care. A day off is a day off.
Spencer stretched out in the early morning sun outside of the dorm building. Last week was crammed with things he had to do, and it was the very definition of stress.
7:15 a.m. Alyssa jogged by in her morning run with a few other campers. "Have a fun day off." She said, black hair swishing softly back and forth.
"Have fun on your day on." He smirked.
"That's not clever!" One of the campers hissed.
He planned a job interview at the ice cream shoppe on campus, and the rest of the day was his.
No other plans. No kids to worry about. No weird ships.
He honestly had no idea what they meant by that. He guessed that it just showed their creativity. He spent a good majority of the night thinking about it. Although he shook it off, the thought lingered in the back of his mind.
He sighed. One of relief of course. Once this week was over, the little bottles of feelings would be gone and he could go back to normal.
Whatever that could be labeled as.
He headed out. Spencer took another deep breath, the warm summer air welcomed him. A light breeze went by.
Spencer felt great. So great in fact that he held the door open for a lady that was walking through the door at the same time as him.
"Thanks Spencer." He knew that voice. He looked closer to see that it was Sarah.
"Hey Sarah. What brings you here?" He said, his monotone voice gave away for a second because of his surprise.
"Meeting. Ugh." She wrinkled her nose. "What about you?"
"Job interview." He shrugged. "Meeting? Here?"
"I used to work here." She laughed and smiled. "It'll be fun if you get the job."
"Oh cool." Spencer wasn't sure about getting the job. He felt like those little children would ridicule them. He didn't want to put Sarah through that. If she wasn't already anyway.
"Anyway, have fun." He saw some of the female counselors come around the corner. They were on their way to breakfast. Spencer walked into the doorway hoping that no one saw them.
