Sarah-

Sarah had had no luck recruiting anyone to the program. It was really frustrating when half of the people in the dorm she was assigned to look into were gone. The other half being that the building was being taped up for construction.

Today was June 5th, the day of the final meeting before the program started.

She'd made sure that she wasn't late for this one. Angie had already left with half of the other Clemson alumni, leaving Sarah without a roommate to gossip with at night.

Then she met Alyssa.

Her freaking spirit animal. Alyssa had pitch black hair and the prettiest blue eyes. They were literally eye color goals.

"Pumpkin Spice Latte for Sarah." Alyssa also did the late night runs to Starbucks.

"It's not even fall." Colin always shook his head when Sarah asked for that. He looked like he could be Tyler Oakley's twin brother. Except Colin was like 19 and his hair was black.

"No judging Colin." Iesha flipped her twists over her shoulder as she double checked papers for the week.

Colin smirked and rolled his eyes. "Yes, mother." Sass.

"Oh, alright then Son. Come here then." Iesha sassed back.

"Alright people!" Chelsea marched into the lounge where they were making last minute preparations. "The 7th is the big day! It's two days away! Woohoo."

"Thanks everyone for helping out with recruiting last minute counselors."

She looked Sarah directly in the eyes. "I helped..." Sarah mumbled into her straw.

Chelsea laughed and continued. "So, I'd like to introduce the last and newest member of our summer family, Spencer!"

The same guy from the library stepped around the corner. Sarah almost choked on her latte.

"Hey everyone." He waved and sat down in a chair. Then everyone introduced themselves. Sarah was about to introduce herself again when Spencer said, "I think I know you. Sarah right?"

"Hey Spencer." Sarah laughed. For a split second, there was that same awkward and unforgettable silence before Alyssa introduced herself. Everyone else went around fine. Sarah couldn't shake that awkward feeling down.

"Alright ladies, we're going across the street to Lever Hall to hang up names. Let's do this." Camille stood up, motioning for everyone to do the same.

They packed their things and made the trek over.

"Sarah. You, Alyssa, and Iesha can put the names on the second floor. Camille, Katie and I will go on the third floor. We're going to do it like this. Put all the names and their matching roommates on the same door. Oh, and make sure they're in order by week. Then, take a picture so we'll know who gets what key, and you get the point. Right?" Chelsea handed them a folder.

They nodded and began to work.
