Sarah-

"Hey Sarah, got a minute?" A cluster of giddy campers sat around Sarah in the dining hall.

Sarah furrowed her eyebrows, but forced a smile. "Uhh, yeah. Something happen?"

"Do you have any..." One of them leaned her elbow on the table, and stared Sarah in the eyes. "love interests?"

"Umm, not that I know of."

"He's hot." Her younger sister blurted, suddenly wearing the same wide-eyed expression as Sarah. The sister immediately reacted to putting her in a head lock, and fluffing her hair. "What did I tell you about that?" She said through gritted teeth. "What. Did I. Tell you. About. That. Eh?"

"Hey. What did I tell you about doing that? Even if their your siblings?" Sarah crossed her arms, projecting the motherly tone that she and Alyssa had practiced just last night.

"Okay, fine. But, back to what I was trying to say earlier." She rolled her brown eyes before continuing. "I'm not that much of a singer so I'll say it: He's never going down. He's never giving up. He's never gonna leave so put your hands up. If you like him, then say you like him." She hummed the tune as she spoke.

"That actually comes off pretty stalkerish." Sarah laughed a little.

"Hey Sarah." She heard Spencer call from behind.

"Oh hey Spense. What's up?" Spencer looked worn, like his own thoughts were weighing him down. She'd decided to ask him about it later.

"Colin wanted me to ask if you'd fill in for him tomorrow on the Greenville trip with the architecture class. Wanna come?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Cool. I'll tell him you said yeah." He walked off.

Sarah turned around to see the girls were staring intently at Sarah. Some of them teary-eyed. "Umm are y'all okay?"

"It's a date! It's a date! It's a da-" Another began to squeal. The sisters were fighting again. One covering the others mouth with her hand. "Shut up." She hissed.

Sarah got the gist. "Oh. Umm, we're not..."

"That's fine." She shook her head. "That's fine."

For the rest of the day, Sarah felt slightly uncomfortable to be around Spencer. She'd never really thought of him as more than a really good coworker.

And that night, she lay in bed, feeling like she was sixteen again. Whether that was a good thing or a bad thing, Sarah didn't know. She'd shake it off eventually though.
