They drove off the highway onto a dirt road that was secluded from sight. The road was a bit bumpy, which made Sylvia cranky. "Abraham?! Are we there yet?!" Sylvia yelped when they came across a huge bump in the road causing her to hit her head against the window.
"Almost there."
The entire ride it had been silent and tense. Ambrose was still fuming about earlier as Alexander still mulled over his thoughts. Sylvia had wondered if she had missed something so she asked Keira to fill her in; she did. At the end of Keira's recollection of the event that went on, Sylvia was ticked. She wanted so much to strangle Ambrose for speaking to her sister that way. Keira, however, wouldn't let her and told her to keep her composure; which earned her a grimace from Sylvia.
Abraham pulled the car over to the side as they entered a small clearing. "We'll have to go on foot from here."
They all made their way out and Sylvia groaned. "How am I suppose to drag a suitcase?" Keira had pulled out her backpack and hefted it on her shoulders, rolling her eyes at Sylvia's laziness.
"Here, I'll take it." Alexander reached down for her bag but Sylvia readily moved her suitcase out of his reach.
"I can do it myself, thank you." She told him, curtly.
Alexander sighed and pulled away. 'So difficult,' he thought.
They walked down a path of small pebbles and Sylvia struggled to keep up pace. Shaking her head, Keira took hold of Sylvia's suitcase and trudged down the path with ease. "Thanks," Sylvia mumbled.
'You know for a werewolf, you sure are weak. I thought all weres were suppose to have super human abilities, so what's wrong with you?' Keira mused.
Sylvia glared at her. 'Sorry for not being around my kind for so many years!' She then stuck her tongue out at her.
'Very mature, Sylvia, very mature.'
'You know it!' Sylvia giggled.

Alexander wondered what the two women were talking about but he couldn't use the bond between him and Sylvia because she had blocked him out of her thoughts. He heard Sylvia giggle and he so wanted to scoop her in his arms.
Ambrose noticed the look of wanting in his cousin's eyes and felt sympathy towards him. He wanted his cousin to be happy but it looks like that won't be happening any time soon. He looked back at the two girls and glared at their princess's guardian. 'It's all that little pest's fault.' If it weren't for her, he was sure that his cousin and the princess would be madly in love by now; joint to the hip. Sensing his burning gaze, the girl looked up at him. Their eyes locked; his
burning with hatred and discuss while the girl's was of indifference and void of any emotion.
A gasp from Sylvia pulled the girl's eyes away.

Sylvia couldn't believe what she saw. The silver gate before them was grand and magnificent, shrouded by trees and shrubbery. She gawked at the natural beauty of it all. The gate which would normally seem out of a place in a forest looked as if it belonged there.
"Halt!" A grey bearded man walked out amongst the trees. He wore clothing that seemed so out of date that Sylvia thought they could be from the medieval ages. He had a long sword belted to his side and he held a revolver in his hand.
"Oh quit it you old fool. It's just us." Abraham spoke to the man with a smile.
The man returned a toothy grin and put his gun away. "Abraham!" He strolled over to Abraham. They grasped each other's forearm and shook.
