"You are not going in that!" Sylvia yelled.
Keira sat in her den, typing a vigorous report on neanderthals for an extra credit assignment. She spared a glimpse at Sylvia. "There is nothing wrong with what I'm wearing."
"There's so many things wrong with it that it'll take forever to list." Sylvia glared at Keira's business attire.
"Now you're overreacting, Syl."
"Yeah, and I have a dang good reason to! It's the day of the assembly and you're dressed up in- in," she gestured to Keira's outfit. "Why did I get stuck with such a difficult sister?" She raised her head to the ceiling and splayed her arms out.
"It's okay, Syl. I ask myself the same thing every day." Keira smirked and continued working on her paper.
"Shut it," Sylvia glowered.
A rap at the door pulled the attention of the two girls. "Come in," Keira spoke, her eyes glued back to the computer screen.
Alexander slowly opened the door and entered, a grim Ambrose following behind him. Ambrose had taken an extreme disliking to clothes worn in this world.
"Is something the matter?" Keira asked, not bothering to look at them.
"No, nothing." Alexander sat on the arm of a sofa. "Will we be leaving soon?"
Sylvia glanced at an old fashioned clock that sat on an antique-looking nightstand. It was 7:50 a.m. and they were to be at the school soon. She jumped up and ran into Keira's room. She hollered, "Yeah but there's no way I'm letting Keira leave this house looking like that!"
Keira rolled her eyes and printed out her assignment. She headed for the door but Sylvia ran back in the room and blocked her exit.
"No way, Jose! You are putting these clothes on whether you like it or not!" Sylvia held out a white off the shoulder top that had a colorful array of swirls at the hem and a pair of black skinny jeans.
Keira sighed and took the clothes, knowing from experience that clothes would always be a losing battle against Sylvia. She entered her room and shut the door to the den and un-enthusiastically threw on the clothes. She walked back out to find Sylvia holding out a pair of red heels to her.
She examined the heels, making no attempt at grabbing them. There was no way she was going to wear them. Instead she strode back into her room and put on her black flats.
"Sis!" She heard Sylvia yell from the other room.
She ignored the glare Sylvia gave her and grabbed her things for school. "We're going to be late, Sylvia. Let's go." With that, she walked down the stairs and met with Conor and Celine in the kitchen. "Good morning," she said, not caring for the daggers she felt on her back from Celine's direction.
"Good morning," Conor's husky voice drifted to her.
She turned to face him, wondering why his voice was so raspy and low. She soon found out why, the fool was grazing his eyes up and down her body with a desire she did not like at all. She had caught him a few times with that look every time Sylvia would make her wear something other than her formal attire. She curled her lip in disgust and walked out the door, not waiting for them to follow.

The day flew by quickly as everyone was stoked for the assembly. Keira and Sylvia soon found themselves heading to the auditorium. They had been excused from their classes to help set up everything.
As they were about to turn the corner, Sylvia, once again, bumped into someone. And that someone happened to be Brittany and her followers.
"You're such a klutz! Can't you see that there are people coming through?" Brittany glowered with a snotty expression.
