"So how was your honeymoon? However short it was, it must have been something," Keira commented. She laid comfortably on the chaise in Sylvia's chambers. Sylvia had asked her to eat lunch together and they spent most of the afternoon catching up and finding things to entertain themselves.
Sylvia twirled a lock of her hair and smiled brightly. "I have to say, even though it was shorter than I wanted, I absolutely loved it." A crimson blush covered her cheeks lightly. "It was everything I ever dreamed it would be." Her eyes were a bit glazed as she looked at Keira, "Thank you."
"For what?" Keira quirked a brow. "I didn't do much."
"Oh, hush! If it weren't for you, I probably wouldn't even be with him right now! Not to mention how beautiful the entire wedding was! Sis! I can't ever thank you enough!"
Keira shook her head. "If anything I just hurried along the two of you to get married! My goodness, you were being so very stubborn that it was draining the rest of us just to be around the two of you! We were all going mad!" Keira laughed as she saw Sylvia's blush darken.
Sylvia furrowed her brows and pouted. "You be quiet! Besides, it's you and Ambrose who have issues now!" She stuck out her tongue. "And don't try to deny it because it's so true!"
Keira gave a puzzled expression. "Well, I know that we're not at the best of terms and may even dislike each other to a certain degree but I do not think we have issues other than the ones he has made known; myself being a guardian."
"You are so clueless," Sylvia blew out, "you two like each other! You guys are so dense! Of course, you've never been on a date with anyone you liked before so I can't really hold you accountable for your cluelessness." Sylvia tapped her chin, "But I can't say much in his defense, seeing that he's so experienced in his line of women." A sour expression made a way onto her face as she said the last bit.
Keira's face scrunched up in confusion. "What on earth are you talking about?"
Sylvia smacked her forehead and breathed out a deep sigh. "Let me break this down for you slowly," she spoke the next words with emphasis, "you like Ambrose and Ambrose likes you. Now do you understand?"
"I'm starting to think that I shouldn't have let you and Alexander get together so quickly. Now that your love life is completed, you have taken the liberty to make fantasies of mine," Keira answered with a sigh. Keira sunk in her seat a bit and held a hand to her forehead in dismay.
"Whatever! You-" Sylvia's words were cut short when Alexander strode into the room with a glowering Ambrose in tow.
"How are you, Love?" Alexander bent down and placed a kiss on Sylvia's cheek.
"You know there is something called knocking," Sylvia huffed but accepted his kiss.
"Love, this is our room so there is no need for me to knock," Alexander grinned smartly. "Don't let us interrupt your conversation," He nodded for them to continue.
"We can't talk in front of you two!" Sylvia exclaimed.
Alexander raised a brow, "Why not?"
"Some things aren't meant to be talked about around an audience."
Ambrose broke in saying, "It's all women's talk, Alexander. It's not something you'd want to dwell your energy in. We better leave."
Alexander chuckled. "Ambrose, you've been quite moody the last few days that I would think you were a woman." A low growl sounded from Ambrose's direction but Alexander simply continued to laugh. "Calm down, we can't just leave when I haven't even done what I came here to do."
