This is another comedy written in the POV of Lauren. In it, Normani is ditzy, high-maintenance, and used to being spoiled and pampered. When she can no longer find a stupid boyfriend or sugar daddy to pay her rent, she has to move in with her best friend, Dinah. The problem is that Dinah's roommate, Lauren, is the complete opposite of Normani. She's a loner, lesbian, and intellectual who hates everything Normani stands for. Unfortunately, Dinah is caught in the middle of her feuding friends. Still, somehow, Normani convinces them to form a girl group.
Ally and Camila are also in the story. Ally is Normani's friend from childhood who practically worships the diva. Camila is Normani's nemesis from the pageant circuit.
