Madelyn's POV
Dang this hurts. I thought Austin wasn't that type. To have sex? That gives me cold chills up my spine. I have this gross feeling in my stomach like I'm going to throw up. Getting your heart broken sucks. He must really love her. I drive home and chill for a while. I turn on the news. Right when the news anchor says,
"Now to the latest celebrity gossip," my mom flips the channel.
"Mom!" I yell.
"My soap opera is on! I think Shirley is going to admit she is in love with Dave." She says with eager.
"Um ok then." I laugh as I shake my head.
I go upstairs to my room and get my magazine out of my walmart bag. Right then, my phone rings. I check the caller ID and it says "WithHeld." I answer it and say,
"Hello."
"Madelyn?" A manly Irish voice says.
"If this is Austin, I have no desire to speak." I say with anger.
"Please let me explain. You see, I didn't know what Zoe was going to do. When I went into her room, she took her towel off and came towards me. I rejected her offer and went looking for you." He explains.
"Oh." I say softly.
"Are you mad?" He asks.
"No I guess not." I reply holding my sadness in.
I'm kind of relieved. I was so scared they had sex. I mean I don't want to have it with him I just don't want him to do it with her. If that even makes sense. I was so afraid he was a perv.
"Ok. Can I pick you up and bring you to Harry's house? He is having a sleep over and we're invited." He says.
"Um I guess it's ok. What time?" I ask.
"In 2 hours." He says.
"Ok. Ill be ready." I say.
"Ok see you then." He says.
I hang up the phone and hop in the shower. I love taking showers because my mind is free and I have time to let all of my thoughts go through my mind. Feeling the hot sprinkles of water hit my skin. I start to think about random stuff. For some reason, I want pickles right now. I know it's weird but they're good!! I suddenly remember, Karlee!! I haven't talked to her in a while. I don't even know where her flat is. I really need to talk to her to get the details. Well anyways, I turn the shower faucet off and dry myself off with a towel.
I slip on some jeans, a pink T shirt, and high tops. Quickly, I dry my hair and straighten it. Yeah I know right now I look ratchet but oh well. I don't even bother putting on makeup because I'm in a hurry. Yeah I don't know why, but I'm always in a hurry when I know Austin is coming to pick me up. I run downstairs and my mom is sitting on the couch reading my magazine.
"Um Mady did you say this boy's name is Austin?" She asks with a strange look on her face.
"Yeah why?" I ask.
"Well um..." She gets interrupted by a car horn outside.
"Oh that's Austin. We can talk later." I say as I run out the door.
I hop in the passenger seat next to Austin and we go to Harry's house. When we get there, everyone is outside sobbing. We quickly get out of the car to see what is wrong.
"What is going on?" Austin asks.
"Well um...." Liam sobs even more.
